@@Random_Nirvana_Reordingsidk man honestly. theres only like certain songs i can sing and play to such as this video. but what i find most helpful is practicing the strumming pattern first to the point where u dont have to think to do it, then practice the singing .
what i would say is do this exercise. listen to some artists sing. and copy the way they say the words, where and how they breathe and the way they sing the notes. try to understand what makes their singing really theirs. this takes work. but it will improve your delivery a ton. then you can start creating your own style with a mixture of every artist you "copied". if you want grit or rasp thats more comlicated to get. cause you will not know how to activate it at first. but yeah. if you end up learning it its a great addition to your singing. hope this somehow helps. you got this. if you keep practicing youll make it
