Lucid's ghost lured Apple Bloom away from the Red Harvest Symbol before his granddaughter could investigate the family curse. He didn't want her to be as haunted by it like he was when he first found out the truth about his family.
I love this twist to the Apple family. Though, I wonder what happened to his brother, well, the demon in his brother. The comic never said what happened to him or if he found a new body, if he did, who? I hope there's another comic that backs this one up. So many answers left unanswered. I guess another gruesome twist would be that Bright Mac and Pear Butter both fell victim to the curse with Bright Mac being over taken and Pear Butter dying in the process of saving her loved one. I imagine Granny Smith would've noticed the change easily and he couldn't risk it. Or, they found out about the curse and decided that they themselves would end the curse.

Ok I will admit I nearly started to cry when Lucid and Granny were talking while Lucid was dying. That was a very well done scene and it tore my heart into pieces as I watched it. Great job with the dub.

I have this weird fanfic headcannon thing where AJ falls for Rarity's twin brother who was oversea's for many years, and Granny dislike him, his name is Elusive but AJ and most call him Lu(Only Rarity calls him Elusive), this gave me more context on maybe why she would dislike him. Also this was amazing you did a marvelous job as always and I hope you do the sequel.

Wow, This has got to be one of the best audio-comics I've heard in a while, granted that's not saying much for me (I am a grade a procrastinator so I don't get as much stuff done as I would like listening to your amazing work included) but really Scribbler if there was a hall of fame for fan-creators you would certainly be in it. Okay, this is an amazing comic!!!! But I can't get over the fact that the song lucid sings, the music not the words, is "What Child is This" a Chrismas song!!! Now, I have fallen in love with that story. The part at the end was tragic!!! But I can't get over the fact that a chrismas song was used in a holloween special.
