I used to love the St Athan air show. A stand out display i remember was a Scimitar from the Fleet Air Arm. And always the Vulcan engines resonating through my chest.

This must be from 1967 onwards due to the Harrier being present. I am thinking it may even be the early 70's as the Red Pelican's Jet Provost team was wearing the post box colour scheme instead of their earlier all over red.

Am I right in saying that's was the black diamonds display team? (Hunter's)

Too late for the Black Arrows, they were disbanded in 1960. The colour schemes of the Jet Provosts and the appearance of the Harrier would suggest this is the early 70's.
