Just wanted to share my experiance from my CFA level 1 exam. I sat down for the morning session and the person beside me had no calculator. The whole time I was expecting him to pull it out of his pocket or something. The exam starts and he has no calculator! As we are writing the exam, I can sense him furiously writing on the exam and I can only guess he was manually working the formulas. The temptation to look over just to see how the heck he was writing this exam was intolerable; I had to physically turn my back to him to stop myself from trying to peak and the proctor judging me to be cheating. I just kept my head down and kept on writing. Temptation to look can be innocent but it doesn't matter. I had friends written up for less.
How do we select the answer on the answer sheet? I mean do we circle the right option or just write the correct option infront of question number already provided in the answer sheet?

My CFA test center is in the middle of nothing. I don't have a car, so I need a bag for calculator, batteries, medicine, tissues, pens/pencils, passport, ticket, lunch box (no restaurants around),... Do you think I can drop it somewhere? There will be a designated area? Thanks!

Very strange restriction not allowing having a bottle of water. It's another 3-5 minutes of journey to the cooler station.

We are upgrading the software today - so once the database is restored, we can go live again. We blocked 4-6 hours to do this. Its been 3 hours now.
