    Alright, I got some suggestions for ya mate. I would use a jig or sorts to ensure that the taper you get on each side of every chopstick matches one another. Personally I use a planing jig to do that. I'm not sure what grit that sanding triangle disk thing was however I go up to around 220 and would suggest a high grit as you say that you're using maple. Maple is quite pretty in my opinion so I kinda hurt when I saw you burning it. Chopsticks are typically much thinner at the point than yours seem to be, I go to around 1/8th on an inch on mine. Don't use vegetable oil of any sorts as a finish, it'll go bad. Try mineral oil instead, I use a mixture of mineral oil and beeswax as a finish quite often as do many woodworkers. I admire the fact that you are staring a youtube channel, and as annoying as I may be I honestly wish ya luck on your endeavors mate.
