I think the weird sauce that people don't realize for this fight is that if you aren't tanking up, you need to go light load for the dodge. I think people see the no hit runs and think people are armorless for the memes, but you truly do want to go light load for this fight if you aren't doing the parry tear or the shield and poke strat.
@@Megidolaon999 He was super challenging to learn! What would the difference be of using the Greenburst Crystal Tear which temporarily boost stamina recovery speed in mixed physick as opposed to the one you used, Greenspill Crystal Tear which temporarily boost stamina? Also, upon some testing I got more damage using the Lusat's Glinstone staff.
@@shawnbrasuell8951 I figured since I was already using the double headed turtle talisman to regain stamina I could just get a little extra stam with the Greenspill Crystal Tear. Lusat’s staff is stronger, but I went with Azur’s staff for the faster casting time
Icecrags are definitely the best spell for the DLC. As fast as a light attack and procs frostbite. Every other spell (except for the Spiral against Bayle) is virtually useless in a boss fight.
Dual staff of loss night comet is probably still better, especially if you can manage to get off a Dark Moon now and again (which is usually very doable, though admittedly tough here)
