Loving the amp Brad, you've done an exceptional job mate. She's been purring like a kitten all week in the studio - never sounded better. We'll be sure to do a full video featuring this beauty soon!
Sounds ace Brad. Extra points for the Lyle lick. You are the champion. I hear that Aus is full of animals that want to kill you….but woolly mammoths…jeez.
Man, with the original speakers, it sounds killer! I think you hit the sweet spot on the filtering too. You knocked back that ghosting just enough that the amp sounds a lot more focused, but doesn't lose any of its mojo! I think the owner is going to be VERY happy!
@@BradsGuitarGarage I'm still just trying to understand what the heck I'm looking at. Might need to phone a friend! Wish there was a layout I could cross reference, I'm not at the point yet of being able to equate what I see with the schematic especially on this amp. Quite confusing haha
You are one clever fella mate. Coupled with the fact that you truly give a shit about the quality of work required to keep these jewels alive and at their peak. Bravo Brad, schooled once again on how it should be done. Those Demon nuts are a mighty fine solution to a recurring issue with a few of my cabs, any Australian suppliers recommended?
Scotty! Thanks for the kind words, mate! As for the demon nuts, let me know what thread and qty you're after and I'll send you some. I get them from Hafele Sydney, but they want you to sign over your first born before setting up an account. Still got some accounts from my architectural joinery heyday.
You won't hear it on a mobile phone speaker. It's the intermodulation subharmonic product of double the mains frequency and the fundamental note being played.
Pete Townsend once said " If it hadn't been for 'Rumble', I might never have picked up a guitar"! Have you ever heard shoot out the lights by Richard Thompson? It's like "Rumble" on meth and steroids, with lyrics, and a pair of jagged, dissonant, psychotic solos!

Great to hear, mate!
I hope it behaves itself for decades to come!
Love that Am add 9.
I've run out of chords because I'm working on amps and guitars 15-18hr a day.

When you played the Lyle hendrix arpeggio it cracked me up. The only lick worth playing when testing an amp ever! Amazing job!!

I always admire people who do amazing work! I found this channel because I liked his comments on Lyle's channel. Glad I did.😎
That amp is so clean for such an old example. Amazing.
ahah man you played Lyle's lick! btw this amp sounds great , you are a true champion!🤘🏻
Jeez those final tones were insane. Awesome job!
Thanks mate!
How are your ones coming along?

Cool amp Brad, nice fix and ultimate sound test..! Top info and nice vid..Ed..uk..😄
Well done!
Sounds good, but why plugged into the low gain inputs?
I lost that video and hoped nobody would notice. Thanks. LOL!
Thanks!
Wow, thanks mate!
That's very generous of you.
Hey Brad, would you have a link for where to buy the Demon Nuts? Need some for my AC30. Cheers.
I get them from Hafele, mate. But you need an account there. It's probably one of those things that's best found on eBay etc in low volumes.
Any difference in feel/sag with the 32/32 cap?
I don't get the "ghosting" issue you were fixing in the first part with the caps? What am i listening to? The slight ssshhh sound?

Are you using Single coils ?
Be kind: use time stamps. 🥰
Link Wray, huh? 😎

What a song Rumble is, eh lads!? The definition of suave!
