Not sure how genuine Boz and Dorit’s friendship seems so far. It seems like Boz just has to listen to Dorit go on and on and Dorit never asks her about her life 😂😂 But maybe there’s more we haven’t seen yet 🤷🏼♂️
At this risk of sounding like a total sceptic, I believe Boz was "assigned" to Dorit as the season started. I think Boz came in with little connection to anyone, and someone on Reddit pointed out that Boz is friends with Diana (from last season) IRL so came in disliking Sutton (and maybe feeling distant to Garcelle because of that Sutton connection - Erika wasn't wrong when she told Garcelle that Sutton is a hinderance to her lol). Boz is a great listener so she acts almost as the audiences placeholder while being able to get all this information out of Dorit for us/production. If she stays for another season, I doubt she will be this close to Dorit, but I do like them together tbh! Also, this maybe out-of-line for me to speculate on but I do think that Dorit may have also been attracted to Boz because it lays Garcelle's "unconscious Karen/non-woke" accusations to rest...but idk.
