I’m a c section mommy, & it gets me so mad when they say “it’s the easy way out” like first of all not all of us had a choice, mine was an emergency c section, second a c section recovery is so hard & painful 😭😭😭 I really wish if I ever have another baby in the future I can try for a vbac 🤞🏽

Is like they don’t know how painful they are, my first one it felt like my guts will come out.
Is like don’t belittle what we go thru before delivery is not like you just go in and they cut you open, and baby out, at least the ones I had I had the contractions, the first one I even pushed.

Seen your family so close to you during this days and so united cleaning and setting the house for your baby's arrival broke my heart. You are so blessed to have a family like that.

I stated exactly what you just said on Chins and Giggles yesterday before this video came out! When you had Briancito, your focus was 100% on him, not that you had a c-section or any pain you may have had! The goal for any pregnancy should always only be for the good health of baby and mama!! You are an amazing mama, Mayra, to both of your babies! ❤❤ Congratulations, again!

yeah when you had a c-section at 25 weeks, your uterus wasn't stretched enough compared to a uterus at full term, so the risk of it rupturing is higher if you try to do a V-bac at full term. your doctor made the right call.

Its hard, but also everyone is different some deal with pain easier than others. So lets just be kind to eachother and help eachother out with mom and baby hacks. Babies are born with no instructions and we gotta do our best. 💙💜 sending love and hugs to all my mommies out there!❤

I get you about the c section... my first baby stopped breathing during birth and I had an emergency c section. She only weighed 5 lbs 6 oz at 39 weeks so induction was too much for her... on my second pregnancy I knew my baby was also going to be small although the doctors told me he would be fine my gut was telling me to go the safe route this time.. I longed for a vbac so bad but I knew I couldn’t put my baby through the same thing my daughter went through... we did an elective c section and I’m so glad I did.

Unexpected Birth plans are Heartbreaking especially when you hope for one thing and things don't turn out the way you expected . I was supposed to get Induced but I had a failed induction I was not dilating and I was sad because I really wanted to experience a natural Birth. When the doctor walked in my room and said I needed an emergency C-section I started crying i wanted to leave the hospital and just have hopes that my baby would come on her own I didn't want to go that route my unexpected birth plan really made me understand that things won't always go the way you plan them I came to realize that months later at the end I was grateful and blessed that I had a healthy Baby 🙏🏼 God bless you and your baby ❤️

C-sections should never be seen as the "easy way out." I had to have an emergency c-section with my son due to my uterus rupturing despite it being my first pregnancy. Recovery was very rough and traumatic, but I am very thankful that c-sections exist because it is what saved my life, as well as my son's life. The scars that we have as c-section mamas are reminders of how strong we were in the moments of child birth, and we deserve just as much respect as those who were fortunate enough to have a natural birth.

I’m a c section mama too. My oldest was born at 35 weeks. He was breached. So it was an emergency c section. 12 years later I got pregnant and my doctor said that because I had an emergency c section I couldn’t have a vbac. I had my c section scheduled for 12/16/2020. I was so sad but I went into labor and the on call doctor said I had no time this baby was coming. My vbac was successful. But at the end both my babies are healthy. Don’t let anyone say that you took the easy way out because a c section is much harder than giving birth vaginal.

  • @marinelg25
    @marinelg25 Год назад +6

I’m so happy for you both. I can see how much you both have waited for this. I know it hasn’t been easy. But you make it look so easy. And as a mother who delivered vaginally, I one million percent believe c section mommys have it worse. There is nothing easy about a c section. Not going through it not healing from it, not taking care of baby like us who had them “normal”. My biggest fear was a c section but not because it’s “easy” because it’s not. But the healing process. I have so much more respect for those who have gone through it because I know how hard it can be. As long as baby is here healthy doesn’t matter how. At the end of the day, we’re mothers and should be supportive of one another because we don’t get handed a handbook with instructions of how to be a mother. We learn every day. And it’s THE hardest not paying job at the end of the day.

My mom had 4 classical c-sections. My sister, who was born 2nd, passed away 36 hours after being born. They took her out too early 😢. Which they didn't do uktrasounds back then either. Her lungs weren't fully developed. Then, when they cut her open to have me, they could actually immediately see me because her uterus was so thin. I'm assuming it's because of all the c-sections she had before me. I'm 44, so it's been a while since I was born, lol. I had all V deliveries. So everyone is completely different. As long as baby and momma are healthy, how the baby gets here doesn't matter ❤❤❤. I will say though that I that you mommas who have to have c-sections are rock stars PERIOD!!!! Praying complete healing quickly and you get back to normal soon!!!!!

I totally understand you Mayra but as a C- section mommy I too was feeling over whelmed because with my daughter I got to 39 weeks last doctors appointment & I had no contractions no Braxton hicks nothing so he suggested getting induced or getting C- section I cried because I had such a great pregnancy after the morning sickness lol but I did not want to get induced because my mom got induced with my little brother & it was for 3 days and then I thought I’ll just do it and just suffer it’s fine it’ll be worth it but then I thought what if I suffer all that for it to be an emergency c- section & my husband & I just decided c- section even though I would cry about it every time because that’s not what I wanted but I’m glad my mother instinct kicked in before because since you know you’re awake for the c- section after getting a anxiety attack which that never happened to me ever the doctor told his wife (his helper) that the cord was wrapped around he literally said I see the head then wait the cord & my husband and I heard gargling noises those few secs were hard & then we heard out daughter cry even though I knew how it was going to be it was all worth it & thank God now there’s options where the skin is glued on to the skin and not stapled in like back then when sometimes it would even open my mom had us all 3 normal but she asked a lot about c- sections & she & my husband took care of me really good she would give me árnica tea every night before going to sleep so it can heal from inside luckily I didn’t suffer as much to walk & all but I did feel like a burning feeling but you got this Mayra you’re doing great

God is so graceful and beautiful, he puts everything together with such caution and says, my dear you will have some pains and tears but the amount of compensation I will give you for everything you have gone through will take you to a completely different level in life. Put your trust in God my dear. I have I’ll tell you my son was 3 pounds, had NEC, lost most of his small intestine due to NEC, is hard of hearing, has bilateral cochlears, my daughter was 1lb born at 24 weeks, had eye and heart surgery. I feel like we cried every tear in our soul with everything in the last 21 years, from everything we went through. God had the wheel all this time sweetheart! I can’t thank him enough for everything, we are better humans due to all we went through, we can empathize with others due to everything. I’ve given advice to moms who were going through what we went through. My one pound daughter will be 17 and now we are getting licensed to Foster!!❤You have such a beautiful soul my love God bless you, your husband, Bryancito 👼 and Noah.♥️♥️♥️♥️♥️

My pregnancy was difficult from start to finish. I was going to have a natural birth but that was not what ended up happening. C-section was my only safe option and i had to literally be a horrible patient with my doctor to get him to understand that something was wrong. No one likes a horrible patient so they ended up doing what i asked. Found out my gut feeling was right and i was able to have my son born on time and safely.
Prayers for a safe and healthy delivery 🙏🏻 ❤

C Section mom 2x here .. I don't regret AT ALL not feeling vaginal birth for the fact that C Section is 90 % less stress and trauma on baby ❤️

Im a c section mama too girlie!! I was induced at 41 weeks and in labor for 18 hours just to do an emergency c section 20 minutes from when they announced id have a c section (at 6 am) so my mom didn't have enough time to get there which i wish i couldve had as she is no longer with us and now ill never have that memory. I am still so grateful i had him via c section as they informed me that my son was so big i wouldve had a complete tear. Although i had a low transverse cut i still am not eligible for a vbac, my next child must be c section (found out due to having a second pregnancy in November and my doctor letting me know that prior to having a miscarraige about 2 months later)

I had my 3 children natural birth. I would think having a c section is not having an easy way out. You are more at risk. I think they would say it because you won't feel pain. But you get pain from surgery, and you need someone to help you with the newborn until you recuperate.
    You did the right thing.
I'm so happy for you guys. Many blessings 🙌 🙏🏽 ❤

Never had a c-section and also NEVER understood or even heard anyone say c-section was the “easy” way out. Several layers have to be cut to even reach the baby while keeping babe and mom safe!

My first was born at 28 weeks and I had to have a classical c-section. It's definitely ok and normal to feel disappointed and sad that you can't experience that part of birth but doesn't make you any less than those that can. My second made it to 35 weeks before I went into labor (oops) and my doctor told me that I was minutes away from having my uterus burst. But both are now teenagers and I wouldn't change a thing. :) Congrats on your baby!!!

To those who say “it’s the easy way out” READ THIS: 7 layers of the body are cut, it’s a massive surgery. There a high risk of complications during it including due to anesthesia. The risk of infection of the wound. The expectation to get up after 3-5 hours of a major surgery to take care of a little human while in pain and with an incision that you feel could open at any time. Being a c-section mom does not make us any different, it’s different circumstances with the same result.

I am an emergency c section mom and when it's like that u just think of ur child well being but when ur pregnancy goes smooth u think more like omg they r going to cut me open. All I ha e to say is rest ur 6 weeks of resting because I didn't at all and it took a year to heal have zero pain. I drove myself out of the hospital and was driving to see my son everyday in the NICU. Rest rest rest the most u could

I have no idea who would say c section is an easy way out. I have never had one bt a vaginal delivery bad enough bt the csection looks very sore afterwards when healing at the end of the day we want a healthy mum and baby. Women need to stop shaming each other and build each other up. Women are wondeful and are able to hold and birth a life, what a miracle ❤

Girl , solo quiero que sepas que I know is a hard decision por que uno como mamá siempre queremos un vaginal delivery pero vale la pena tener una c-section si es para tener a tu baby safe in your arms . I have 4 beautiful blessings , 3 of my babies are vaginal delivery and my 4th baby has an emergency c-section it was a hard decision pero gracias a Dios tengo a mi princesa con migo . She is 1yr. And 5 months. And girl I am not going to lie pero having a c-section it a harder recovery pero don’t worry because you are surrounded by people that love you y te van a cuidar y ayudar. I am very happy for you guys si no tengas miedo todo va a salir bien .

I had someone tell me that I “cheated” by having a C-section. I also had someone ask me if I chose a C-section so I wouldn’t have to feel pain. I didn’t choose a C-section i literally had no choice it was for mine and my sons safety. I would of much rather felt the pain of natural birth than pain of recovering from a C-section. I will forever grieve not being able to experience a natural birth. If anything I felt robbed and blamed myself for my body not being able to do what it was suppose to. But now I realize I’m not less of a mother for having had a C-section.
