Hey Caroline, I've been thinking of you all week, knowing this was coming! LOL It's fun seeing all these crafts again. It is scary though, It means it is soon time for me to start my crafting and Christmas is only 5 months away.
Don't know why but I fancy a mince pie with whipped brandy flavoured cream - weird! Ps. The neighbours might think I've gone crazy playing Christmas music in July. 🤣
Caroline, you used a tin lid w/ the red truck & tree and I'm wondering... if you had dabbed a bit of that wax you sometimes use on the front ... if it would have toned down the shine/ glare without masking the design on it ? I've never worked with the wax, which is why I'm asking you !
Thank you Lucinda :) The only problem with wax on a glossy surface is that it never seems to dry and so you get it all over you when you handle it. It would have been so much nicer and easier though :)

I love mince pie! My stepmother was from England and she would make it at Thanksgiving and Christmas. It was delicious!
