I doubt it was that big of a deal. They have strong lungs. Did you notice a struggle from it? If it was drowning, it would be violently splashing. It seemed very relaxed in the water.

It doesn’t look like anything is wrong and if you don’t know what to look for or recognize, you can mistake their actions. Also… REALLY?!!? Lazy???! A BABY?! I've watched videos of these little monkeys clinging together and rolling around in water with no air for far longer than this lady left that baby in the tub and those little guys have great lung capacity.
