Its because koreans don't like to eat cilantro because it test like soap to them, i think because it has a connection of them sweating but not having any bad smell of it something like that, i heard this from one of my friend who is korean herself. That's why mingyu's reaction is like that while eating that cake ig.
cilantro tastes different to some people because of genetics. you can google it but basically some people are just born to feel like cilantro tastes like soap. considering mingyu keeps going back for more I don't think he has this, he just thinks cilantro in cake is odd and is slowly adjusting to the idea lmao. I am one of those people that genetically doesn't like cilantro. I get why people say soap but to me it's not necessarily soap but it is kinda..toxic chemical should not be in my mouth adjacent. lol
@@anastasia2049 maybe but most of the korean foods I have seen or have it don't had much cilantro on it, maybe some of them like too it and some of them not, but from what Ik that cilantro taste like soaps to them so most of them don't like to eat it. But people can have different test you know, my most of the friends who are Koreans don't like to eat it cuz it tastes like soaps to them haha.
