Baby boy knew his brother’s voice and followed his voice the first time they met. He literally stopped drinking his bottle to turn his head towards the door, my eldest nephew was coming in with their daddy. All he said was “Hi mommy.” And baby bro turned right too him and locked on him as their dad walked him around the room. It was amazing, and they are still so close to this day..

Awww I love seeing newborns take in their new surroundings. It gives you insight into their temperament. Every baby I've ever known was born with a whole lot of personality. My youngest was born angry. In her defense, I was apparently in labor for 2 days before I finally went to the hospital, so she was probably pretty uncomfortable for quite a while. She was only 5 lbs, with virtually no body fat, so she was also really cold. We had to keep her swaddled outside of baths and diaper changes for like 6 weeks. If she was awake, she was yelling at everyone. Not just crying, or screaming, straight up yelling. She still does it, too. She'll yell at me and then stop and look at me, as if she's demanding I explain myself. The funniest part was her wrist band. At our hospital, the babies' wrist bands are labeled with the first three letters of the mothers name followed by "baby". So her wrist band read "madbaby". It was perfect. I'm happy to report that at 8 months old, she's much happier, and chunkier, that she was back then. On an unrelated note, she also holds her bottle with her feet when she eats. Like a monkey. Her physical development is still a little behind where it should be, so she can't hold up a full bottle with her arms yet. She'll lay on her back with her legs in the air and her bottle gripped between her feet, and she'll drink from it that way. She's good at it, too. Never drops it. The other day, she saw me holding her bottle and reached over and snatched it out of my hands, forcefully and precisely, WITH HER FEET. I can tell she's gonna be a "work smart, not hard" kind of kid. There's nothing like getting to watch babies observe and interact with the world for the first time. It's amazing.

She started talking so well that I didn't keep up with the ASL as I wanted to. Just gotta interact with them and they'll show you how amazing they are...but social interactions not tech...I mean they pick up on that fast too but social is way more important if we want to keep advancing society.
Awwww, bless you and your baby girl. My baby boy is 5 and a half months already. He definitely had an attitude (his dad's attitude to be exact) the very minute he was born. It's crazy because through the ultrasounds and just carrying him for 8 months (he was born premature) I already had an idea of what his personality would be like and he's just like his daddy. But I really wish you and your baby the best in life. It all went by so fast. It seemed like I blinked and 5 months flew by. I'm cherishing every single second with my son. I tried for 10 years to bring him here and now that I finally have him, I'm not taking a single second for granted.

Awww I love seeing newborns take in their new surroundings. It gives you insight into their temperament. Every baby I've ever known was born with a whole lot of personality. My youngest was born angry. In her defense, I was apparently in labor for 2 days before I finally went to the hospital, so she was probably pretty uncomfortable for quite a while. She was only 5 lbs, with virtually no body fat, so she was also really cold. We had to keep her swaddled outside of baths and diaper changes for like 6 weeks. If she was awake, she was yelling at everyone. Not just crying, or screaming, straight up yelling. She still does it, too. She'll yell at me and then stop and look at me, as if she's demanding I explain myself. The funniest part was her wrist band. At our hospital, the babies' wrist bands are labeled with the first three letters of the mothers name followed by "baby". So her wrist band read "madbaby". It was perfect. I'm happy to report that at 8 months old, she's much happier, and chunkier, that she was back then.
On an unrelated note, she also holds her bottle with her feet when she eats. Like a monkey. Her physical development is still a little behind where it should be, so she can't hold up a full bottle with her arms yet. She'll lay on her back with her legs in the air and her bottle gripped between her feet, and she'll drink from it that way. She's good at it, too. Never drops it. The other day, she saw me holding her bottle and reached over and snatched it out of my hands, forcefully and precisely, WITH HER FEET. I can tell she's gonna be a "work smart, not hard" kind of kid. There's nothing like getting to watch babies observe and interact with the world for the first time. It's amazing.

She loves music, reading and talking. Was very advanced as a baby. Signing ASL at 4 month and speaking words at 6 months. She started talking so well that I didn't keep up with the ASL as I wanted to. Just gotta interact with them and they'll show you how amazing they are...but social interactions not tech...I mean they pick up on that fast too but social is way more important if we want to keep advancing society.

Awwww, bless you and your baby girl. My baby boy is 5 and a half months already. He definitely had an attitude (his dad's attitude to be exact) the very minute he was born. It's crazy because through the ultrasounds and just carrying him for 8 months (he was born premature) I already had an idea of what his personality would be like and he's just like his daddy. But I really wish you and your baby the best in life. It all went by so fast. It seemed like I blinked and 5 months flew by. I'm cherishing every single second with my son. I tried for 10 years to bring him here and now that I finally have him, I'm not taking a single second for granted.
