To those confused about law and liberty, it is a famous statement by John Locke. In political theory, essentially the idea is that freedom and liberty are different. If you have no laws in place, you can do anything which is a state of freedom but can lead to anarchism in society. However laws promote rights of other citizens, and liberty is considered here as positive liberty which can be enjoyed only in presence of laws. The idea is that we have true liberty only if our life and rights are safeguarded or anyone can commit any offence against us in a state of absence of laws.
Yes these questions are from political theory part and confusing for most people with non PS background but read 11th ncert or get idea by basic googling on basis of pyq.

(Sayd m glt hou bcoz sbse alg hi chij dimak me aayi h...but Aaj mujhe ase lga ki is trike se paper solve kre fir to 2023 vale pattern me or bhi km dimak lgana hoga ..for example - dikh rha hoga ki haa ye do me ek shi or ye dusre do me ek shi to overall 2 statement correct... exactly konse h iski to jrurat hi nhi...to pattern change ho ya nhi ...it doesn't matter jb aapko shi se solve krna aata ho)

Just a very humble request-
(1) As you discuss the questions and given statements, please also discuss these aspects-
the inferences about “DEPTH” of static/ CA to be covered as can be judged from the question, (like for e.g. - q32 here about President, now when we would have looked at the Qn paper before 2023 how we should have determined the depth of the topic , its dimensions, etc.)
{Toppers/ Seniors when asked about how they are able to segregate the more relevant and lesser relevant in static books and magazine say that they do it based on PYQ but HOW - this remains unanswered largely.}
(2) Sir, just for the initial few videos please keep guiding in more depth about what is to be researched in the Qns. Once we will develop the aptitude, I believe we will be able to do it on our own as well as to what’s the HW to be done but presently facing issues.
You already take care of each and every detail sir. As I wrote this , I had been really hesitant as by now I have developed this trust that you will be telling us everything at the right time and that if you are not telling us anything then it is not the right time. Still felt like requesting. So…
Lastly, thanks again Sir! I remember just a couple of days before you had started the MAD series , I had almost developed psychosomatic disease because despite all efforts since 2021 (when I started the prep), I couldn’t understand PYQs as I should have even after watching no. of analysis videos, asking friends and seniors. Friends despite being most honest, genuine and concerned to help still couldn’t explain as to how THEY are able to do it and I would keep thinking they also work as much as I do but understand more than me. With your explanations I and even they could spot the difference which hadn’t been visible to me earlier- all these friends had been exposed to more mcq based competitive exams than me. They already had subtly developed the aptitude for understanding the PYQ and also attempting the papers. I didn’t . BUT NOW I WILL. I pray Almighty to bless me with the strength to follow the plan in the most committed way possible.
You have so well understood the process sir. This is a great accomplishment but greater an accomplishment is this readiness, generosity, ability and courage to withstand so much to share what you have earned and learned through rigorous experiences with us all. May you and all selfless US members be blessed with best of health, happiness and energy by Almighty, ALWAYS because you have to set many many more golden milestones in every path you all will undertake.
At least now the industry has somewhere this feeling certainly that they are not going unscrutinized. The students are aware.

Q45 -- but to maintain law and order is the duty of the govt, which implies people's responsibilty to govt ---- isn't this the "Rule of Law"
Where can I get those tests
From my understanding,rule of law means upholding the law of the land or rather that the law of the land prevails which is the duty of the judiciary.
So no the people aren't responsible to the government

@@tanmaypandey7475 What I feel is that..."Rule of law" does entail the responsibilty of people, but it is not exclusively towards the government. Rather it is towards the State ( Executive, Legislative and Judiciary ). And I feel the statement would have been correct it the term "State" were written in the place of "Government". What are your thoughts on it?

Tell us true that you solve these questions without looking at the Answer key. Aptitude development is important but it is important to know that where to leave a question cause u just try to prove your answers right(like in ques 44 , 47 and many others). Like you say wherever data is given that can be alter by upsc, however it is not correct anymore after 2021.
Similarly in CPCB ques, when that question come in 2018, no one knows that it is statutory body under water act. Now people know it bcoz now everybody read about it.
