"Live version" of this song, Everyone will say see the MTV VMA 2023 performance, and you ain't seen nothin' yet, if you're a Pau fan in that video ;) you cannot help but have a smile on your face watching/listening to this performance.... After following this band for less than two months, I'm almost ready to say "Evolve" might be their most dynamic, hard rock but available to anyone song in their repertoire. Granted, I probably have seen only a fraction of their songs at this point, this performance/song has everything. Even as Pau's talents 'demand' attention, they actually do a great job of not leaving anyone out. Dany's vocals and guitar, undeniable, Ale's bass, ever present, mood bending. So excited to see this live in October, my first live show, my goodness :)
You're in for a treat seeing them in October! They should showcase their entire new album in their live shows after its release next month. I saw them in London last month, and will see them again in Dublin in July. Might be the last opportunity to see them in a small venue!
You won't be disappointed. I was afraid my expectations were too high before my first show and that I'd be disappointed but they were absolutely amazing.
Evolve es de los temas de rock duros de The Warning ,tremendo riff y gran linea de bajo ,TW son maestras en las estructuras de temas ,verdaderas maestras
I don't know if you've been told yet but Pau was voted Drumeo's best rock drummer of 2023, She also won Modern Drummer's best up and comming drummer 2023 also.
WHAZZUP, DUDE?!?!! This was a great reaction video…I always enjoy watching your face right when you hear something awesome!!! Makes me smile!!! This video TOTALLY vibes the old school MTV video days!!! I had to watch this video again because the first time I couldn’t hear the song very well (I just had my phone on speaker, which is not the greatest, lol!) I then hooked up my Bluetooth speaker and could hear the song WAY better! The song slams!!! Have the most outrageously EPIC day, and radiantly happy JOY!!! See you next time!!! PEACE!! 💥👏🏼🔥😁
This video was recorded with 16 iPhones and a drone. During the bridge / interlude after the pick slide, there is a faint sound like a howling wind in the background. That is an air raid siren Dany downloaded and put into the demo. The producer for the Error album, David Bendeth, hated it. He tried relentlessly to get get it removed from the track, but the girls didn't back down and got their way. He said they graduated from David Bendeth Boot Camp when they finished recording and mastering, but David also graduated from The Warning Boot Camp because they didn't back down even to him for what they wanted. They are really close, though. He considers them as his adopted daughters, and he is included in their family circle.
Got a The Warning official tee shirt that says "I'm not in Danger, I'm the danger." Pau's drum kit in this is one purchased specifically for their first North American tour but because of the pandemic that tour was delayed. Pau calls the kit "Bonbon" which is a slang term in Mexican Spanish meaning "marshmallow'.
Their performance of this song at the 2023 MTV VMA's cemented Pau as my favorite. Her crowd work i s exceptional and that scream has never felt more visceral. This band feeds off the crowd and reflects that energy back. They are always better live.
Shot in a car dealership garage with 16 iPhones and a drone. Song was inspired by a Netflix docuseries, Unnatural Selection, which is about gene editing and humans affecting their own evolution.
Pau is a barely 5' tall force of nature! Live version @ 2023 VMAs tops this! Great reaction. Can't get enough of Pau losing her sh!t on the drums and dropping one of the most epic screams in rock history - The Live version at Teatro Metropolitan kicks ass as well. Gives a nice shot of her winding up for the scream of destruction.
This shows off Pau killing it on her kit big time the video is awesome the live version at VMAS is another level amazing. "They are so brilliant an explosion of excellence" was a quote from a reactor watching the MTV video and I couldn't agree more with that comment. Great reaction thank you.
I love the looks they get of Pau when she's looking at other cameras. They make her look possessed or just downright evil. Then Dani's direct looks into the cameras make her look like she owns you. Any camera angle on Ale is epic. They're incredible performers.
If Pau's double-kick did it for you, you gotta check out their live performance of Queen of the Murder Scene, Teatro Metropolitan. Almost early Sabbath vibes there, too.
I love this video, because of how much it features Pau's turning in a 'lead drum' performance of 🤯ing quality. Everyone is Amazing. Dany's vocals 🔥🔥🔥 Ale's bass ⚡⚡⚡ Pau's scream 😮😂 The MTV VMAs version is even better, just like everyone is saying, but I'll never get tired of watching this one. 🔥⚡🔥⚡🔥⚡🔥 ✌️💖🎼
Pau is to me the human version of "Animal" from The Muppets. She is a total beast on those drums. Even while playing the drums and singing. She is in my opinion one of the top drummers out there today which was consolidated by her winning the Drumeo Rock Drummer Of The Year. Love this girl to death cause she is just absolutely awesomely talented. All of them are, but Pau has been my favourite from day 1 :D
Fun fact: was recorded with a bunch of iPhones you can see at the different takes and a drone. Maybe the best thing about The Warning is that they’re like top of the line session musicians (I say like ‘cause that’s not something they’ve actually do, but they have that level of skills a session musician needs, since they’re very precise and consistent, actually the best musicians are that kind of performers), and the live versions of all of their songs are amazing since they play it exactly like it should be, no fails, not incomplete sound, no singing below their studio level, and for this song, since that’s produced for an important TV show, the live version of Evolve for the MTV Awards is amazing
Pau (drums) releasing all her frustrations and pain through her _"Scream of Evolution"_ so she can grow past them and *Evolve* 😜 Pau came up with *Evolve* after watching a documentary about evolution and gene manipulation... this isn't the first time she has drawn inspiration from a TV show or movie, either... several other of their songs have been inspired by books, movies, and similar media... this video was shot in a parking garage at a car lot... they used 16 iPhones and a drone... you can see cameras on the mic stands and two hung over Pau on her left and right... speaking of iPhones, their OMV for *S!ck* was all done with iPhones, too... Fun Fact: Pau has three screams/yells that she does... the first, most well known, one in *Evolve* , one in *Z* , and the other in *Hunter* ... Fun Fact: during soundchecks, she's been known to use a much less powerful "Waaaaaaaaaa!" instead of "The Scream"... gotta save that scream for use at the proper times, ya know? LOL TWA ⚡🤘😸🤘⚡ TWA
Evolve is one of the songs I think you owe to yourself to see a live version of even if you don't make a reaction video of it. I suggest, like many others, the VMA performance. Pau, the drummer, gets the audience hyped up during the break down. This song is usually their show closer currently.
Hey dude love your reactions man. You're the first person to touch bug every quality that I love about this song especially Pau and her fuck on incredible contributions. The double kick, the crazy rolls, the screamo. Sick. I just got into them a couple of months ago but I love reactions videos just to feel like I'm hearing it for the first time with you again. Thx Cheers. Of course you must know by now you have to watch the VMAs especially for this song.
It is interesting to hear that some compare The Warning's songs with other groups, Muse, Black Sabath, Ramonrs, Bad Religión, etc. The day will come when they refer to the rock of the warning and that's it.
Everyone is going to tell you to watch their MTV VMA's performance of Evovle! Every reactor and their monkey's uncle is doing that. And yes, it is good, and awesome. However. In my humble opinion, their live performance of Evolve, when they opened for the Foo Fighters in Monterrey Mexico in a stadium of 55,000, which was captured by MTV's We Speak Music, IN THE RAIN, as they PUNK ROCKED THE FRICK OUT on that stage, is a much more high voltage performance, and it's much more them! Both Ale and Dany were captured head banging in the rain! I highly recommend this for your next reaction of a live performance of this song. The VMA's version can wait. ruclips.net/video/-8pOEmvssQo/видео.htmlsi=onjVSW9Q9agSqXIj
The opening riff is in 7/8. Dany channeling her inner prog metal. When Pau first wanted to play drums, no instructor wanted to teach her. Why? She was very little and could barely reach the pedals. There was one teacher that took on the challenge and now she is a world class award winning kick ass drummer (I bet those instructors are kicking their own asses at that missed opportunity). By the way Pau is the shortest of her sisters, I believe she's only 4'11" tall. Dany is about 5' 1" and Ale is about 5' 5". Fun fact. When Dany stands in front of Ale's mic she's like "what the hell, it's in my forehead!" LOL. Pau is the queen of the murder scream!!!
Also the TWA can correct me but if I remember correctly Ale just had her wisdom teeth out and then shot the video and was feeling faint thru out the shoot amazing ladies!
Dude Im not sure if youve reacted to it yet but if you haven't, when you get to the title track to their sophmore album Queen of the Murder Scene well...its straight up metal
Every 3 piece band is a little punk. It is what defines the genre. Definitions of music genres especially in rock is a little tiring. I enjoy the music. The Warning are everything I ever wanted and desired. I am in love!
This is the first song I heard and I was sailing down the rabbit hole at the speed of sound with inappropriate headgear within the first half hour! When you mentioned the Dead Kennedy's with the pick slide an enormous light bulb went off in my head! I heard it instantly. I can safely say I've never heard the DK's mentioned in the same breath, but you're spot on. Bad Religion too. I hear a lot of punk references that others might miss because I listened to a lot more of that in the 80s and 90s than a lot of other TW fans, I think. That is what is going to make these brilliant badass ladies the best band in the world. They pull in the best slammin' rock from the last 3 decades without ever sounding derivative for a second. Because they JUST GET IT! it comes from deep within. You'll never regret sticking with them!
Nice reaction, this was good 🥰 I love your energy, it's so fun lol. I'm happy I found your channel! I was at the Moline show with my husband, wish I would've introduced myself 😂
You're my favorite reactor, I fucking love you man! BUT like all the other reactors, they're like WHAT kinda music/rock is this, it's they're version of rock and roll and I FUCKING LOVE IT!!!!!
take for next one, the same song but live from VMA 2023.... btw, almost all songs from TW are different form each others though all are TW sound --- we are deep down in the wabbit hole with you
WOULD LOVE TO see you react to this newly released song from a Finnish cello metal band: APOCALYPTICA - ONE feat. James Hetfield & Rob Trujillo (Official Video) 🤟😎

You keep reacting to music videos. That’s Ok if that’s what you want to do, but you’re cheating yourself from a better first time reaction experience. As most The Warning fans know, they are best live. Do both at once to see the difference. Love your reactions though.
"Live version" of this song, Everyone will say see the MTV VMA 2023 performance, and you ain't seen nothin' yet, if you're a Pau fan in that video ;)

26! 🤘I hope that in one of the remaining days you do the live version on the MTV VMA, it is incredibly more powerful.
And includes the teatro Metropolitan concert.
I don't know if you've been told yet but Pau was voted Drumeo's best rock drummer of 2023, She also won Modern Drummer's best up and comming drummer 2023 also.

I like the warning siren, it adds such a cool element and I hardly see it mentioned, nice catch!
Evolve is one of the best rock songs ever written.
Got a The Warning official tee shirt that says "I'm not in Danger, I'm the danger." Wouldn't it be easier to count the days forward to 30 instead of subtracting the days from 30?
Considering your reaction to this, I am afraid of how you will react when you see the live performance of this at the 2023 VMAs.
If Pau's double-kick did it for you, you gotta check out their live performance of Queen of the Murder Scene, Teatro Metropolitan. Almost early Sabbath vibes there, too.
OK, you are the first to mention Dead Kennedys. Made me smile.
They take from so many influences but still manage to make it sound like The Warning
Queens of rock. Pau's scream gave me chills the first time I heard this song. And it was the MTV awards video. More powerful
This is one that you should have done live at the VMA's. It is just another level.

The most common word used by reactors (including you) about The Warning is "EPIC". That's all you need to say.
