Hi Cliff, another beautiful location, perhaps those kayaker's go there often and know where any deeper channels may exist. Stay safe and enjoy life as you never know when it will end. Thank you for sharing, much love. xx 💖

Keep'em coming buddy. Living in western Pa. the Penn stuff is my favorite they're all good though. My dad had an old joke" Nice day for takin' a tramp in the woods .... ya know any?"

Cliff try putting a dryer sheet in your hat, or tie to the back part. I used to do this and it kept the bugs away.

Great idea... I will remember this.

Someone once told me that a dryer sheet and warm water in a pan that has gunk on it that won't come off helps release grease and baked on food. I tried it a couple of times and it seems to help.

@@katiefyock9607 My Mom would put the oven racks in the bath tub , fill with water and add dryer sheets and let them soak over night. Next day with a little rubbing they would be clean.

We'd love to get out and do stuff like this, but it's called farm life. You know about that I'm sure. Bills to pay, mouths to feed. Cars to replace and keeping our house in good repair. All with crappy falling apart furniture. We like our virtual tours with you.

Prime Hook actually has a canoe/kayak trail you can take. i think you can get to it from the other side of the refuge from where you were.

A wise decision to divide your time between kayaking and hiking.

good afternoon. if you haven’t already, do you have any plans to make a video in the green lane/sumneytown area in montgomery county? thanks. i enjoy your channel.

Glad you did a hiking trail. I prefer the hiking, personally. And even though the kayaking is entertaining, that didn't look like a nice place. Thanks.

Thanks for the kayak trip Cliff, you said that there were deeper channels and beings there were more of them they found there way through the mud. I'll ask you a question. Why don't you put the camera on the information plaques you passed on the boardwalk for 3 seconds or so? I can understand your goal of not making the video too long, but I and others, could then pause the video and read what they say while you save time moving on. I've caught up on 40 or more past trips now and sometimes you pause at them but most times you do not. Love the trips in any case. Thanks again.

    • @thewanderingwoodsman7227

Some folks want to read the info others don't. If I don't pause some viewers complain, but if I do pause then the others complain....I can't make everybody happy.

@@thewanderingwoodsman7227 That's fine Cliff and thanks for replying. That never occurred to me. I did not intend that you pause long enough to actually read them. I was thinking of just a capture of them for the curious of us to read by us by pausing video. I retook the tour, counting the sign at the cemetery there were 5 information signs. 3 seconds per sign capture would total 15 seconds out of the 18:37 trip. I feel the "non readers" are being a little unreasonable but, of course, it's your call. As I said, I love the trips in any case.

    Cliff,
My old ears aren't as sharp as they used to be, but your camera microphone captures all the sounds.
When you edit your videos, do you hear more than you did while walking or does it seem just as clear?
    Cheers,
    Rik
