Thin sponge on long pips makes it much easier to attack backspin, you can really rip into the ball and the topspin created by spin reversal brings the ball down onto the table. Ox is however better for the classic punch block against short backspin serves etc.
Los consejos son aplicables con una goma de picos largos, pero con esponja de 1.3? (Curl PR1)

Muchas gracias. Para jugar con más esponja hay que corregir el angulo de golpeo en ciertos momentos. También es diferente la fuerza a aplicar. Intentaré hacer un vídeo sobre esto en el futuro.
Pablo muchas gracias por tú video, yo utilizo en mi revés los picos largos sin esponja Milkyway Neptune, que te parecen??, he utilizado también la goma de picos largos tsp Curl p2 con esponja de 1,5 mm (la Curl p2 creo q ya no esta en el mercado), no me fue mal pero en mi poca experiencia con los picos largos creo que son más dañinos los de sin esponja, corrígeme si estoy equivocado, estoy aprendiendo los picos largos
Hola, para jugar cerca de la mesa son mas dañino sin esponja.
Que goma de picos utilizas hay? Y que grosor?
La goma negra es Hellfire X con 0.5mm de esponja. La roja es TroubleMaker OX.

He llevado cortos en el reves pero quisiera empezar con largos que sirvan para atacar no solo defensa.
Hola! Por facilidad para atacar, te recomendaría Curl P2V con esponja de 1.5mm. Se pueden usar de forma parecida a un pico corto.
@@PabloMoralesTT Thanks very much for your recommendation. That helps me a lot as I want to change to use long pips from short pips on backhand and I don't know which long pips and what thickness to buy.
I tried to play with Hellfire X in OX. I bought two rubbers. The first one lasted 4 days and the second one 5 days. That was three years ago. So I quitted this rubber. Apart from durability, I think it`s the best - by far - LP on the market. I really hope that in all this time Sauer & Troger fixed the durability problem. I would go back from Tibhar DTecs OX to Hellfire X instantly.
I've played with S&T Hellfire X and Tibhar Grass D.tecs OX. I used them for 1.5 year. Of course the effect reduces with time. I prefer Hellfire X over Grass D.tecs.
@@cmpf3158, what`s the situation in your case? I`m talking about durability of S&T Hellfire X in OX. Have Sauer & Troger fixed the problem?
@@mariusdragomir2853 I bought my 1st S&T Hellfire X in 2023 and it lasted 1,5 y. Two or three pips fell of after months of play, but then I incidentally tore it when I was about to change rubber. I still recommend S&T H X. I just bought me a new one this week. I think 1 year of usage is good enough.
