I’m 76 and still got Excited when you announced what you had planed. The park was totally amazing and great to see the children having fun, as well as the Adults. After three years you so needed this trip. So I’ll be coming along as I truly feel like you are family. Lots of love to you all xxxxxxxx 🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰
In 10, 20, 30... years time when you and the kids look back at these videos, you will all remember the good times. You must keep multiple back-up copies! Having told the world when you will be away, I sincerely hope your insurance company still provides you cover!
Wow I am 84, glad you’re doing this with the kids. So much fun and adventure. Will be watching all the fun and smiles. Safe adventures we all love you guys.
I was born in Miami and raised in Sarasota. The Ringling museum is a must in Sarasota. Remember to see the areas of the state not near the beaches. There are amazing springs near Ocala that you can swim, kayak and canoe in. The everglades are an amazing combination of ecosystems. I think your kids would love learning about the different ecosystems while they are schooling on the trip, and they they’d get to see them in person. Florida City south of Naples has some of the best fishing in the state. See of can get into Pennekamp State Park and take the kids snorkeling. Boca Chica state park is just north of Key West but hard to get reservations. Try staying in the state parks because they are beautiful and better than an RV park. Stock up on bug spray, but for you and the RV. You’ll need it! There are 4 poisonous snakes in FL and Cotton Mouths are very aggressive. Have FUN!! I’ll be watching.
@@bernicehenson5210 With half of the family being allergic to the kitty. We’ll rehome King Louie 🐈⬛ He will probably go to a loving neighbor 🫶🏻 Predators have got all of our chickens.. 🥺 So… I didn’t purchase more this year. 🙏🏻
My wife and I were snowbirds for 14 years. Enjoyed every time. We went to Ft Myers each year just to stay out of the freezing temps. Even Tampa has cold temps. The west coast is a slower pace but the big lake in the center of the state is great for fishing fresh water. Deep sea fishing is great if the ocean has small waves. Big waves make the day miserable. Have fun.
When you get to Florida, a must see is NASA. You and the kids will love it. Also the Lake Wales , Mt Dora area. If you go to the Keys, go visit Ft Jefferson.
❤Ah, the eternal quest to keep your cluckers clucking without becoming a snack for the local wildlife! Here are some humorously serious suggestions: 1. **Fort Cluck**: Upgrade your chicken coop to something that could withstand a siege. Think moats (without water, unless you want chicken pirates), high fences, and perhaps a drawbridge. Electric fencing can give a 'shocking' experience to any predator thinking of a chicken dinner. 2. **Guard Llama or Donkey**: Yes, you read that right. These animals are known for their protective instincts. A llama might spit at predators, while a donkey will bray, kick, and chase. Plus, they add a certain... exotic flair to your backyard. 3. **Motion-Activated Sprinklers**: Nothing says "Keep Out" like an unexpected shower. Set these up to give any predator a surprise bath. It's like a water park, but the only ride is "Get Outta Here!" 4. **The Scarecrow 2.0**: Forget the old straw man; we're in the 21st century. Use a robotic scarecrow that moves and makes noise. Maybe even one that looks like a famous movie villain for extra laughs (and scares). 5. **Nightly Lockdown**: Make it a ritual to lock your chickens in a secure coop at night. Think of it as tucking them into a fortress. No predator can argue with a good lock and reinforced wire mesh. 6. **Chicken Armor**: Okay, this might be taking it a bit far, but imagine your chickens strutting around in little custom-made armor. Not practical, but definitely a conversation starter. 7. **Noise and Lights**: Predators hate well-lit areas and noise. Solar-powered lights that flicker on at dusk and a radio set to play the most annoying pop music you can find. Predators might just leave for some peace and quiet. 8. **Smell Deterrents**: Use predator urine (available at garden stores) around the perimeter. It's like telling other predators, "This territory is claimed, and by something scarier than you." 9. **Training Your Chickens**: Teach them to be ninja chickens. While this won't really work, imagining your chickens performing kung fu moves against a fox is entertainment in itself. 10. **Neighborhood Watch**: Get your neighbors involved. If everyone's looking out for predators, you create a community defense system. Plus, it's a good excuse for a neighborhood barbecue - predators hate the smell of grilled chicken... wait, maybe not that last part. Remember, while these suggestions are wrapped in humor, the core ideas are quite practical. Combining physical barriers with deterrents usually does the trick. And if all else fails, just remind yourself, you're engaged in the ancient art of poultry protection - it's practically historical!😊
So happy for you guys. Can’t wait to see the vacation.Your family is so lucky to get off the homestead.I don’t recommend Disney too expensive anymore.Just take your time enjoy each other.Ed from Michigan

Hello beautiful family that’s awesome. Yes, I would love to see you guys as you’re going on your vacation. Thank you guys. I hope you have a blast. I can see you are and you’re well-deserved it.😊
Awesome RV park!!! Come on down to Florida 🌞 We have so many different activities ... the Atlantic Ocean, the Gulf and so many natural springs with lots of marine life. I live in a fishing village in Florida it's the best life for me!
We live in Fl. Just north of Tampa. Love it. So much to do. Zip lining, parks, beaches, horses, Ringling Bros mansion and museum in Sarasota. The springs, Weeki Wachee, mermaids , Tubing rainbow River Manatee viewing Center near Apollo Beach. Kennedy Space Center, St Augustine, The keys and on and on.
St. Petersburg Florida is the absolute best place in Florida in my opinion we stays the winter in Port Aransas Texas it was fantastic we paid 600.00 a month full hookup good luck will be keeping an eye on y’all
From South Florida, love the idea! Being the kids are home schooled St. Augustine is a must, also Gulf coast is different from Atlantic Ocean need to do both. If you want tourists Orlando and The Keys. Enjoy 😊
I love you guys I love your channel everything you do I will be falling Along on your trip to Florida thank you for sharing stay safe may God bless you and your family.
Good afternoon, Jen and Nick. We're pseudo neighbors from St George. Have watched them build the Waterpark for the last couple of years on our trips to Huuricane. Plan on taking the grandkids soon. Also looking forward to the Ropes Course that's opening soon. Wife and I Drive to Florida almost yearly for cruises out of Florida, will be there in January, 2025. If you're into beaches, the gulf beaches are nicer than the Atlantic Beaches. Florida Keys if you can. Obviously with kids, the amusement parks. If you like seafood, try Felix's Fish Camp in Spanish Fort, Alabama on the way over or back. Lots more depending on your route. You'll have fun, we do!
The cats all got snatched by wildlife predators. As of a couple of weeks ago there was one left, but it’s probably gone now too. The family didn’t provide any safe shelter for them! 😭😡
Heck yeah! A winter road trip will be awesome adventures and learning. I predict an EPIC road trip. St Andrews st park Florida. Look it up and shell island on a rented pontoon boat or direct from the park in a shuttle boat. Beaches are beautiful there and not all crowded either. You and kids will love it.
Hi guys. You can stay at Rest stops, truck stops, Loves, TA, Pilot Ect. Stay out of Miami it is a cluster F. Just a thought on the property for when you leave. I would build a door that closes off access from the stairs to the deck. It can rise and lower. And you can lock it from inside and out.. This will give the house more protection.
Florida suggestion Arcadia, Fl east of Bradenton on sr 70. Thousand trails park about 20 north on 17. Arcadia has big rodeo March 6-9. We love our small town . Look it up see what you think, I know you would enjoy the rodeo! We’ll come see you !!!!gail & Mike

So fun to watch you all at Yogi’s! This is your Indiana friend, originally from Tampa/St.Petersburg. If you are in the St.Pete area, check out Treasure Island, Madeira Beach, and Sarasota.
