That's what I wanted to know. Like are chemicals used? I know some soy protein isolate are made using chemical solvents such as hexane. I wonder if the same is true for pea protein.
3:55 You guys should innovate on a new packaging wrapper for the bags. The zip-lock just does not work with the powder getting lodged in between the rails. This is just annoying because we cannot store it in an air tight environment.
Alkaline Extraction followed by iselectric precipitation. You wont find the article in blog post, but plently of paper in google scholar regarding this. Essentially the peas are pulverized then mixied with highly alkaline solution which only disolves protiens and starch along with fiber is left as residue. After filtration the pH of soltion is decreased to precipitate out proteins.
You stand inside a vegan protein powder factory on a video on how it's made and then don't show footage of how it's actually made. Probably because viewers would realise that this protein powder is a highly processed food that is not good for you.
I was using flavoured whey protein for ages. But as I am consuming quite a lot of milk products I decided to go for something different so my diet is bit more rich and I started to use UNflavoured Pea protein from MyProtein. Oh boy, that taste is terrible when I took it first time but over 2-3 weeks I used to it. I can say, when I compare it to my whey flavoured protein, I can digest this more quick and I feel far better. That whey was lying in my stomach for hours and I felt like a balloon, I don't know if it is because of that flavour, artificial sweeteners or what is was but thie Pea protein is quite good alternative.
Terrible uninformative content in this. Nothing about manufacturing is actually shown, the entire explaination is given by vague descriptions supplemented with a minimalist flowchart of abstract processes. Some peas arrive, apparently they get milled, some kind of magic undescribed filtering step (probably steps) happens, and some magic white powder comes out. Why no actual video of any processing machines or conveyers or trucks or filling or anything? The other ingredient explainations are somehow even worse and only talk about micronutrients present, not even with any quantities. The only decent thing is the QA process which is explained well.
Did your mom drop you when you were a baby? If they showed every single step of the process they wouldn't have a product to sell because everybody would make their own. Instead of whining like a little baby, you should do your own research so that you can learn to make the product yourself 😂
2:51 As far as I understand it: The powder itself is PRODUCED somewhere else (I guess not in Europe) and the so called "My Protein Factory" is nothing more than a storage-, labeling-, and packing-station. You do not produce it yourself, right? Also the separation-process of starch and fiber remains a "black box", which is sad.
There is no vegen or non vegen protein. The only thing is supplements and..... supplements are chemically made. And......moreover, Why don't they tell the proper making of mass gainers.
Mass gainers are basically just some whey with tons of sugar and a little bit added vitamins and creatine. Cheaply made. Better off buying whey and add honey to it
I thought you'd show the actual process not an animation.
Alkaline Extraction followed by isoelectirc precipitation.
@PhysicsLaboratory-cp7eq that's pointless, people wanna see how it's done not learn science. How dumb do you have to be to understand that
That's what I was saying.
What is the filtration process? that is the entire point of us clicking on this video
Alkaline Extraction followed by isoelectirc precipitation
In the filtration process, how are the fiber and starch separated?
That is the same question I came here for.

Invest in a reusable plastic container

I don't trust food producers who are secretive about their process. This makes me reconsider if I'm better off with whey protein powder

Pea protein is garbage.
So you are the dealer and not the actual production! That’s why the prices are outrageous!

The grinding is probably the only step. And adding some saw dust.
Were the grains washed prior to milling?

Yes probably from China.

Here's how we process, we process it, because we process. And there we have it, that's how our pea protein is made 😄
Didn't want to see graphics instead of real machinery...waste video

I love your vegan protein 🥰🥰🥰
I am gluten and lactose intolerant. I also have irritable bowel syndrome. Do I need to take protein ? Thanks
No whey
I just bought 5 bags and I awlays make a shake, but now they just get super thick! Any tips to make is more of a liquid? Btw I use milk in it
add more milk less powder or try using a different milk like a almond milk that is not as thick
I am sorry I am really curios. Why didn't you choose whey protein if you consume dairy.
@@nileshsharma9220 because of acne break outs plus its cheaper, has more protein per serving and is healtier. I think
Yes but where you get the peas from? China?
I'm ordering a 25 lb bag now. going to grind it up and have a go
Why does the first person sounds like arnold
Just tried clear whey watermelon And its really good!!
how to order it
well, it seems pea protein is not hypoallergenic, it seems it can cause severe problems with a sub-group of peanut allergic people.
Peas impact the thyroid gland
How can I find out more about this?

Maltodextrin :P
You are one of those dumbass

Eat Paneer, cheese and peanuts. Easy bulking
