Scrap-n-Repair: Xiaomi Mijia Vacuum Robot Auto-Off / Shutdown Fix

This unit was found in the detrash area, tested, and it is auto shuts down after a few minutes even if the battery is now low. No response on the top buttons. Only will work when returned to the charging dock. Disassembled the unit to check the battery (no physical damage), Sensors (all good even if cleaned), and Board (no busted fuse, all components are good). After replacing the battery the unit is back to normal.
Tools and parts required:
-Philips screw driver
-Cleaning detergent
-Brush
-Battery PN:BRR-2P4S-5200S 5200mAh

So what was the problem? Was it battery problem originally ? And have you tested with old battery once again after cleaning?

Answer to your question is in the description. Cleaning did not fix the issue, work as normal after battery replacement.

I have read that one of the fuses fail. Not measurable as it is resetting. Will the new battery give a "normal" battery consumption?

My mi mop pro doesn't run more than 1 minute now after just a year and less than 100 times of usage. Xiaomi uses the worst batteries.
