I have to say, of all the EN girls, Bae has surprised me the most with her vocal talent. She doesn't advertise or hype up her singing as much as the other musically-oriented Holos do, but whenever she unleashes a performance like this, I'm blown away every time.
Yeah after hearing this I think Bae might have the most range in Holo EN. This is basically Risu level.
She's a bit insecure about her voice so she would often downplay it by saying "I can be better" "No, I'm not as great as the others" and although staying humble and always striving to improve are both great qualities to have, sometimes it's just nice to take some credit for yourself.
But thankfully, Bae has been building up some confidence of her own, and although it's still not the best yet, you can at least feel that she's proud about all that she's accomplished.
3D one day.. that's gonna be an amazing show
She's amazing. Wait until she performs at 4th fes in 3D. I guarantee she will open everyone's eyes and ears to her talent in both singing and dancing.

Let’s be real, any cover Baelz does is unlike anything you can ever listen to. I always say one of her biggest strengths in Vocals is the versatility. She just knows every new note and pitch like the back of her palm. Well done once again. ❤️

Its not the notes here that is impressive, they just auto-tune that. What you can't get from auto tune is tone, and baes tone is fucking incredible.

@@barrythecommie6684 Heh. Well first, Ar Tonelico is what introduced me to Shikata Akiko in the first place, so of course I knew about Shimotsuki Haruka. Excellent taste, by the way. Still, I will forever maintain that while Yuki Kajiura might be matched, she cannot be outclassed. But why argue? There's room to turn the trifecta into a pantheon.

From 3:28 - 3:40 I'm blown away when Bae does this sort of operatic voice and it really hits when she does it well (especially at 3:30 - 3:33 when she does that jump). I can't help but internally go "whoa" and get slight goosebumps sometimes.
Bae's covers always blow me away with their quality, vocal contro, range, everything is on such a high standard! Definitely one of the top singers of Hololive for me. And I hope to see more original songs from her, because possibilities of what can be created with such talent are endless.

I completely forgot about this anime, but now I have to rebinge it due to this amazing cover.
Hopefully this will bring more people to Akatsuki no Yona. Definitely a well-written shoujo manga/anime, Yona's really growing from zero to hero. From a helpless princess to a well-known vigilante, the hero of the poor.
I feel like I say this every time Bae releases a new cover but it keeps being true, so whatever, I'll keep saying it. Her voice is seriously amazing. It is incredibly powerful when she has to belt, but it's also very clear and melodic so it sounds beautiful when she sings gentler songs like this one. And WOW, was this beautiful! I don't even know what the song is about, but just hearing her hit those notes made me a bit emotional.
I suppose the recording took a while, and the harmonies were difficult to get just right, but nobody can deny that the final product is a frickin' masterpiece!
Seriously, don't underestimate yourself, Hakobae! You got amazing potential, if you won't believe how good you already are. I can't wait for your next song to come, whether it's a cover or an original, i'll be hyped for it :)

This is by far the best cover of Akatsuki no Yona. Akiko's voice is overwhelming and she has a strong aura that's really rare and tough to capture but this girl did it so well. I am surprised this is my first time hearing her.
