animeartist888 yes u_u I now live in an insane asylum rocking back and forth huming this song in a shaky breath. This asylum for some reason allows me to play youtube but in my warped psyche every video is this one..
Bubble Bobble was the first videogame I ever played, so oddly fitting that it's the first GG video I watch :) Bub is the green dude and Bob is the blue. Bob 4 lyfe! Always played this with my mum :3
Bubble Bobble was one of my favorite games as a child, but over the years, no one had ever heard of it and I couldn't find anything about it other than a game with the same characters under a different name. It's so nice to know I wasn't crazy all of these years, and I found this video 8 years after you guys posted it lol
Oh man, yeah. Craig McCracken and Genndy Tartakovsky are geniuses. Dexter's Laboratory, Samurai Jack, Powerpuff Girls, and Foster's Home for Imaginary Friends. Such good shows. I owe a large part of my childhood to those guys.
+Ethan Conley (Meg) LOL I was Yelling the same thing (minus the expletive)! I remember that it defeated all the enemies on the screen and turned them into a really nice point item for you. Oh well, I'll have to play it myself to see that. :P

The first few minutes: Haven't seen this video! Guess I'll watch it since I'm bored. The middle of the video: *humming the music* By the end: AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA I swear to god I'm going to hear this song in my sleep.
that stuff they said at about 9:00 is why i like Super Mario 2 over Super Mario 3. Mario 3 is a great game, super fantastic, but you have to like set aside a free weekend to sit down and do nothing to get involved in a sprawling epic, whereas Super Mario 2 i can just turn it on and enjoy for a few minutes and feel fulfilled. Joyous music, throw a turnip, get as far as i can and still feel like i had a good time
Umbrellas are stage warps I think. The green candy gives you rapid fire, blue candy let's you shoot further. If you get all the EXTEND letters I think you get a bonus stage and it skips the level you were on. Had this game growing up. Lots of fun!
This is my favorite thing to watch them play, maybe because I get to hear Danny's lovely singing voice. It also sounded like this originally wasn't a 'Game Grumps' verses from the way they talked at some point.
FLOOD OF MEMORIES. Loved this game. My friend and I spent so much time on this thing and managed to beat it...somewhat. I believe there were levels after the giant boss? Can't remember. In any case, I thought those were apples, that Umbrella that was missed in one of the levels will skip you...5 levels? I think? And I can't believe how much my friend and I used to laugh about the faces they make when they're in the fire. We called it peanut butter since it slows you down.
I'm pretty sure other people have probably mentioned this, but collecting the bubble letters spell out EXTEND, gives you an extra life and you skip to the next level
This was a nearly perfect game as a little kid. Cute characters, easy controls. You blow bubbles and collect treasures and treats. I loved each new stage and collecting all the new junk food items. 🤗
They seem to be having fun a lot more in old episodes compared to current episodes. It makes me happy that we have so much great content to re-watch whenever.
Holy shit God damn this is an annoying fucking song, we'll get it stuck inside our heads and sing it all day long, this is the game, that never ends, 100 levels, and start again, while you were stuck in the basement all days, all of the children went out to play.
I have fond memories playing this on an NES. If you didn't grow up giving blow jobs to NES cartridges and consoles to get dust out, you can't know. I feel old as shit.
I'm not quite that old, but I did the same with N64 carts back in my day. My rich cousin had every console from NES to Dreamcast, though, so I did play a few NES games as a child.
OMG I remember this game!! My sister and I used to play this all the time! We made it to the end of the level and missed something important after beating the boss, so it said we had to do it all over again. She said nope and we returned the game, never to rent it again XD
I have an old arcade machine in my house from around 20 years ago and it has this game. the machine still works. you just can't play with 2 players because one of the joysticks broke, but this was my favorite game on the machine.
10:27 the part where they sing XD
Thank you!
Thanks
this song is going to be stuck in my head for the next year

Oh my god, Danny knows about Jiffy-Pop.
How can Arin NOT know about Jiffy-Pop?
Billy Brotan
How can *anyone* not know Jiffy-Pop? Good lord that makes me feel old.
Before Dan hardly started on describing it, I thought "Ok, Dan's going to talk about JIffy-Pop now."
Bubble Bobble Dragons/Dinosaurs for Smash 4.

Never use JIffy Pop in the microwave of a spaceship.
Lol. Loved that episode.

Hey, what smells blue?
Mikhale Strongwing
Actually, it goes "Huh...did everything just taste purple for a second? Oh well..."
Nick Baysingar Aaaaaaaaaaaand now we're in Roswell.
Well, Roswell that ends well.
Nick Baysingar Actually he's right. You're thinking of a different episode. Nibbler erases his memory and the screen flashes purple.
"Look at my speeeeeed! Looook at my speeeeeeed!!" That part was super cute!

My childhood.
It's hard to believe I used to play this.
On a console too. (Can't remember which)
Same though I played in some fan-made version on the interwebs.
Same, but I had the PS1 ver.
I can sell you the NES version.
I remember playing games like dig dug and I'm 19... it wasn't on the old school arcade machines but I still played it.
7:00 GRAB THE UMBRELLA! What are you do- *poofs* . . .
When I was younger, I played "Dinos and bubbles", and I swear, it was EXACTLY like this, just with 3D graphics. I loved it so much..
This was the first video game I ever saw :)
Damn, I was hoping they would make it to the nightmare that is level 57...
Fragtastic same
Does anyone remember Rainbow Islands? Where you make rainbow bridges to move up in the game.
Literally kept pressing "0" to replay the intro for a few minutes before actually watching the video. Love this seem much more then the old one.
I love that little Bubble Bobble: The Musical that starts in the second half.

I used to play Bubble Bobble and Zany Golf with my mom on the Amiga 2000.
Those are probably the only 2 games I ever played with my mom.
Good times.
I randomly selected this video to watch today Jan 1st 2019 and Dan suddenly says "Happy new year" at 7:55
Well ok then
The nostalgia levels are off the charts! I used to beat this game with my sister when I was around 4.
I didn't grow up with this game. I've been watching this for 20 minutes and can't hope to possibly comprehend it.
Same here. I feel so left out. :/
I have fond memories playing this on an NES. If you didn't grow up giving blow jobs to NES cartridges and consoles to get dust out, you can't know. I feel old as shit.

Jonét Harry everyone should play this game. I may have played it only like twice when I was 10 but it is ****ING AMAZING
My sister bought this for me for my birthday a couple years ago. My sister is awesome :)

This was my absolute favorite game ever growing up. I can't believe I played through the game two and a half times straight through. Good deal.
4:10 He almost sounds like rick there
It's been a while since we had a VS. Is good to see the crazy competitive spirit.
I have an old arcade machine in my house from around 20 years ago and it has this game. the machine still works. you just can't play with 2 players because one of the joysticks broke, but this was my favorite game on the machine.
