Im hoping im wrong, but this maybe the one and only best setlist out of the entirety of the tour. Battery Acid is my personal favorite and really got me into QOTSA. Hoping they do more from Era Vulgaris here and there. 🤘🏽
I saw them live in 2007 and at that time Battery Acid was my favorite song but they didn’t play it at the show! It’s amazing to me that it’s found it’s way into this years set list cycle, sounds great too!
Fuck me sideways, I'd take Battery Acid over Go With the Flow or Make it wit Chu any day of the week. Hope they play stuff from Lullabies soon, Lil Sis is fine but there are better songs on that record.
@@jaydenstramel562 I'm glad you enjoyed it. I saw them 8 times live in the Joey era, and after seeing them with Grohl, and with Theodore since, Joey's not for me. "No One Knows" loses it's swagger at like fucking 190 BPM.
Quite the opposite, Medication on the Lullabies tour was probably the fastest song they've ever played and it was absolute perfection. Fuck album tempo, we've all heard those songs over and over again, if I wanna listen to them I'll listen to the album. Live Queens will *never* sound as good again as it did with Joey, Alain & Natasha.
I didn’t unfortunately. It really threw me by surprise when they played that and I got lost in the moment. Pretty much the whole set was full of surprises and as my first QOTSA show it was amazing! I can’t wait to see them again in November in Manchester
Michael Shuman: exists
Josh at every gig: today is actually Mikey’s birthday
It shall be Mikey’s bday everyday
BATTERY ACID?!?!? 😢 all the deep cuts...
Bulby!
@@poopikins LONG LIVE THE QUEENS
I mean mikey has to be well in his 60s with all these birthdays

TVL is quietly the greatest example of the Tele being an incredibly versatile instrument.....
Holy shit, they're doing everything.
I love this song, era vulgaris is my favorite album of all time
ayeeee same here
Same here! Best Album ever
Fun machine took a shit and died is a killer track too.
I have found my people
Same
Era vulgaris is rising that’s great. Dean gets to flex the synth muscle even more, hopefully they play fun machine or the title track at some point.
Finally EV getting the respect it deserves!!
How is Mikey still the youngest with all his birthdays lol
Jon is absolutely slaughtering those drum fills, I'm so happy they brought this track back.
Holy shit. This. Then later they play In the Fade followed up by God is in the Radio?
In the Fade and God is in the radio back to back? Holy shit that's epic
@@slayerBO2EPCand then song for the dead!!!
I thinkl this is the first time Jon Theodore plays Battery Acid Live
I love how Josh gives an accurate 3rd person perspective on the band as an introduction
Such a good song and an even better live song
Gonna see them in Amsterdam this fall - if they play this I'm ready to fucking die!
Im hoping im wrong, but this maybe the one and only best setlist out of the entirety of the tour. Battery Acid is my personal favorite and really got me into QOTSA. Hoping they do more from Era Vulgaris here and there. 🤘🏽
Wish I was there, for you, Josh. ❤
Troy's JEALOUSSSSSSS is always the best, with compliments from the Mikey

Im still waiting for them to play tangled up in plaid again
Yes! And the blood is love!!
Someone's In the Wolf!!
Skin on Skin, I know it's one of the least known, but I fucking love it
Someones in the wolf!
Man they sound tight. Great song
Another birthday!
What a treat
Is it his birthday every gig?
I swear it's their running gag since the last tour
Yes.
New into Queens? That's like a running joke since 2008 maybe 🤔 or it can be 2014 with the ...like clockwork tour.
Today is his birthday
Today
In an interview, he said he was taught guitar as a kid, for 2 years, by a polish Polka guitar player and I thought "that explains everything"
Got tickets for toronto in aug. Been waiting a long time for this
Amazing show. Absolutely loved it in the mosh pit at the front. Thanks for sharing. 🙏
First time they play this in ages, lucky b-ards.
Thanks for the video, the setlist was amazing and with so many surprises.
I was waiting for someone to upload something 😈
Grande Josh, x me puoi cantare anche Tanti auguri a te , che va bene lo stesso
NO WAYYYY
Nice sound quality
Hanging for them to come to Australia 😫
Fingers crossed they come to Aus soon for you! 🤞🏻
I hope an amazing setlist for Manchester and London 😈 I'll be praying for a nice setlist because I'll travel from Mexico to the UK lol

Robot rock!

it's always Mikey Shoes' birthday 🥴
Mikey's birthday...it's a Running Joke
They should play that live
@@Therealstoob Yes, it's a great song.
It's so nice to see them with a drummer who can play their shit at the right BPM, Joey was a rad dude, but that was an era wasted for live QOTSA.
Watch their live from the basement performance, Joey absolutely tore it up

Drummer's missing the jamblock in the 4ths like Joey would play tho
Do you have a video of I Appear Missing?
I didn’t unfortunately. It really threw me by surprise when they played that and I got lost in the moment. Pretty much the whole set was full of surprises and as my first QOTSA show it was amazing! I can’t wait to see them again in November in Manchester
