its supposed to be D dorian but theres no sixth so it doesnt have the only note that differenciates it from D minor and as a result it sounds more minor than dorian😢 but i get that it also wouldve been useless to write on D minor cause theres no B flat so it ended up as a melody with undefined key but definitely with a minor sound to it (the most nerdy thing ive ever typed lol)
they should have totally made R and R' play different notes, and so on... that way there would be twelve notes, exactly the same number as there are in like every single piece of music
