Awesome video Luk thanks, about to start same build but went with Multistar 580kv + 14” carbon fibre Prop. I’m starting to choose a Gimbal to go with Boscam TS832 TX + micro board camera. So I’m tryin to fine a Gimbal that I can fit my Camera on. They are all for GoPro, any suggestions ? Thanks again Luk
I was using this one, it was the best one for me hobbyking.com/en_us/feiyu-tech-mini-3d-3-axis-brushless-gimbal-for-multi-rotor-and-aircraft.html?___store=en_us
No I didn’t see that one i thought I did . I’ve been look at a lot Gimbal last two day , but it’s out stock I’ll keep check in to see when they are in stock. Thanks for pointing that one out for me Luk.
Thank you for doing this video. Nice clean build. This is a very similar set-up to what I'm currently building. What was that stuff you applied to the PCB with a Q-Tip? Sorry, I'm a soldering newb.
If I run the NAZA lite ? Can I use my Radiolink AT 10 ii ? Or do I have to buy another Transmitter ? What software would I use ? I'm still trying to make the APM 2.8 work , and the Pixhawk . But multiple crashes ! And now I have boxes full of spare part's because I had to buy them for continuous repairs . I want to use the Raspberry Pi to help out the Pixhawk but I have a long way to go as far as programming . It's been a fun , but frustrating experience ! I finally went to Best Buy and bought the Parrot Mini so I fly it around the house inside . I've been able to make some improvements to the HMF U580 because of Mission Planner , Tower , and all the crashing I've undergone . so instead of the folding arm locks I've made steel plates so the arm breaks instead of the board . I love your video still ! brought me a long way . I wish you could take a week and come to America and hang out show me how it's done ...
I'm doing a very similar build inspired by this video. I bought motors which are very similar/the same but they state they're rated upto 4S maximum. Was this the case with yours as I see you're effectively running at 6S? Thanks... And good music!
Thanks for the reply. Mine are the fake sunnysky's with the exact same text as yours (were cheap and not sold as sunnysky /logo photoshopped out in listing but came as per yours) so maybe I'll just try it if I get brave :) Cheers, keep up the good work.
As they weren't sold as Sunnysky I don't think I'll be able to, but the propeller adapters have the same problem with the screws not going in flush so I'm doing a dispute over that if the seller doesn't sort me out.
I just bought this kit from China on ebay with remote control for $500 US . I was curious I see I will have to do some soldering of wires ! What soldering wire , flux , and Iron do you suggest ? And what tool kit should I purchase I see you have all kind's of specialty tools for this assembly ? One last question ? Did I pay to much ???
that depends what setup u get- Motors esc fc etc. i sold my one full set for 450€ Soldering iron - www.banggood.com/DANIU-Professional-110V220V-60W-Adjustable-Temperature-Welding-Solder-Soldering-Iron-Tool-Kit-p-1142989.html?rmmds=search
