Just finished watching the whole " The Corona physical Material in 3Ds Max" playlist which I will highly recommend for anyone starting their 3D Journey. It helped me understand basic "CG material theory" and parameters I used to manipulate in a wrong way or for the wrong reasons. I can't wait to apply everything i learned here. Thank you all for these Tutorials, it's a blast to feel the passion and the mastery you have of your craft, Keep it up!

Thank you so much for the kind comments, and we are very happy that they achieved the aim of helping understand what goes into material creation! Thanks! Tom

harsh displacement we need some smoother displacement

Settings are exaggerated here to make the effect extra clear. Smoother and less harsh is definitely possible by adjusting the settings :) Thanks! Tom

Hi Corona Team ! Excellet tutorial ! Is there any place we can download the textures you've used so we can reproduce the same results ? Thanks

Sorry, no - in order to keep things quick when making videos (so we can make more!), like most 3D artists we use various assets from various sources, and that means we didn't create them from scratch and so we can't redistribute them. However, there's nothing here that's overly unique, and the same workflow applies to any sort of texture, so it should be easy to replicate effects yourself. Thanks! Tom

Thank you for the explanation. does Corona still have a GPU rendering program? All the rendering engines have GPU-enabled rendering capability. why is corona so late on this? Or we have to switch to anril.

We are not late :) We simply don't plan to move to GPU at all, and remain focused on being the best CPU render engine there is. We're not willing to stop development of Corona for the year or two it would take to make a GPU engine, and GPU has limitations which means it would not just be "Corona on GPU" but somewhat different than Corona is on CPU. And of course we do have GPU options already if someone needs those, in the form of Vantage, Enscape, and V-Ray GPU. Thanks! Tom
