  • A mid-length walk in Honolulu from Honolulu Hale on South King Street to Restaurant Row, now known as Waterfront Plaza. A busy day for emergency responders, who were at a scene on South King Street. We walk through Kawaiahao Plaza, where the offices of Kamehameha Schools are located, past Kawaiahao Church, the Department of Transportation, First Circuit Court and Federal Court, before reaching Restaurant Row.
The video was recorded on Thursday, March 21, 2024, at lunchtime, using the DJI Osmo Pocket 3 camera. Thanks for watching!

I worked at "Restaurant Row" many years ago. It was so vibrant. In the middle of the circular plaza there once stood a whimsical colorful revolving clock. It looked like a toybox. It's now a planter. There were once water features including a waterfall sculpture. I remember some fine restaurants including Black Orchid (jointly owned by Tom Selleck and others), Sunset Grill, Marie Calendars, Rose City Diner (a throwback '50's diner where they gave you toothpicks and a straw to blowdart them into the ceiling), Studebaker's, Beverly Hills Gelato, etc. This was late 80's - mid '90's. Good times.

Hawaii has 21 army installations that they no longer need, these installations should be returned to the Hawaii people for living space.

Our local people are getting priced out of where they were born and raised.
