I was ready to think that he was a dig-me, with being a doctor (god w 5000 hosp ladies trying to latch on), good-looking, and recently divorced from a high-profile attractive woman...but he actually seems great...
I was thinking that too. Kim couldn’t do the song on his own since it relied on there being multiple men to make sense. That and his bedside manner with Charles was really good IMO. Guy seems like a standup guy
I was brought to tears when Guy was able to bring King Charles some much needed closure. You could see the years of agonizing just wash away. Also, I didn’t care much for Guy but he actually seems like a great man! Singing with Kim and being gentle with Charles really bumped him up in my books!
This is the best season ever because of one man, CHARLES!!! Seriously, I have never loved a contestant more! I don’t think he and Joan are destined to be, but I’m so glad he’s on the show!
i hope they get their prolonged time to shine after the season like some of the golden women did! get them hosting events and appearing on celebrity family feud and making appearances in upcoming bach seasons, we need more
GUY! What a guy! ✅✅✅ He’s kind, empathetic, caring, smart and obviously good looking. I hope Joan gives him a one on one!! I’m so happy he sang the song with him. I’m surprised no one else did! What a guy.
Charles is a top Bachelorette contestant. He's loving life, everyone loves him, he's just enjoying the ride. I will ride at dawn for him. I loved the scene of him asking Guy (who;s a doctor) about his wife's passing and what occurred after. Charles must have felt relived hearing from Guy about what happened to her and feel relief about the matter and Guy telling him he did the best he could must have been a huge weight lifted off his shoulders. Charles must have felt guilty about if he made the right call and hearing that from Guy must have felt better. (me personally, have seen a family member passed and wondered if I made all the right choice at the end. Hearing Guy tell Charles that he did all the best he could, felt reliving to me as well.) P.S. I need a tv series with Gary and Charles trying new things tbh
do you also like the part where Joan who is the lead btw, cried about how tired she was being strong for everyone. All the guys tried to cheer her up, one wrote a prayer for her Mom, but your honey the self absorbed Charles turned it back on himself leaving poor Joan to comfort him! 🙄
Charles is the most self absorbed one on the show. He never once asks Joan about her family or her loss. My husband and I think he actually ruins the show!! Can't wait for him to be eliminated.
@@pamelakoshko they don't air their entire conversations. maybe he has asked or she has told him about it but it's not aired. if they weren't having good conversations then i don't think she would have kept him around this long 🤷♀

Guy singing with Kim had me in tears.. It broke my heart when the guys didn't want to sing with Kim!! Just sing with the man!!! HE WROTE A SONG!!! I can't believe our captain composer went home... 😭
You know even if Charles doesn’t “win” by getting engaged to Joan, I think he’s winning anyway. He’s healing from his loss, meeting a lot of great new friends and this will definitely open more opportunities for him to meet another special lady. ❤️🙏🏼 I believe God doesn’t do coincidences and he meant to put him and Guy in the same place. Guy has a great empathetic bedside manner
This series is far richer than the regular series. This kind of importance comes from having survived a long life. The 60's, though, are a piece of cake. The series could match Shakespeare if the couples were 70 plus.
So, we all know that Charles is perfection, a lovely person whose very presence makes me choke up. But, and this surprised me, Guy is entering great guy territory, too. He seems like a very good man - genuinely supportive of his housemates, funny, humble, and not at all what I had first thought. I had pegged him as too smooth and a bit full of himself but I was wrong, I think. It's nice when someone surprises you.
Is Charles the male version of Susan? Not personality wise, but a huge Fan FAVORITE?? No matter how far he gets (or doesn’t get!) you know we’ll see more of Charles - we better! I just love him!!
I missed this week but I knew that I could pop over here and learn everything I needed to know. Sweet Charles❤️ I really like all of the fellas. Great group!
I get Joan's feelings about being ready for love again. I had heard one needs 1 year of healing for every 3 years together. I should have been ready after 6 years, but it took me 15 years!
I lost the love of my life in 2020 at 59 and we were together 25 years and here it is 2024 and I’m not even any where close to wanting to find another love. He was my soulmate and with the three-year for every year I’ll be dead by then anyway and in heaven with my hubby thank goodness❤❤
It is a relief that the thing that made Joan emotional was just the natural feeling of grief that could be talked through and not Gerry being a dingus.
When Wayne Newton came on, I immediately prayed to the Golden Bachelorette gods that Mr. Fantake would do a comparison to Frankie. You. did. not. disappoint.
He probably meant that his spouse announced she's leaving without giving him the chance to work on things or address issues. It happens quite a bit. All marriages have issues, but sometimes partners don't communicate how serious they are, or that they are considering leaving.
