- The Pistons clinched a playoff berth by virtue of defeating the Knicks tonight by a final score of 115-89. Luke Kennard led the Pistons with 27 points (9-14 FG), to go with 5 rebounds, while Andre Drummond added 20 points (10-15 FG) and 18 rebounds in the victory. John Jenkins led the Knicks with 16 points (6-9 FG) in the losing effort. With the win, the Pistons finish the regular season 41-41, while the Knicks finish their season 17-65. The Pistons have clinched the 8-seed in the Eastern Conference playoffs and will face the 1-seed Milwaukee Bucks in the first round.

@@camorlando5396 always be happy even if you lose in the 1st round. Going to the playoffs is always a step in the right direction. It gets your team out there. It attracts star athletes. It makes athletes want to stay on the team
F0rTn1t3 n0ob "pistons aren't going anywhere" okay for 1, the pistons made the playoffs which is obviously going somewhere (even if we don't advance far into the playoffs). and 2, the man isn't delusional, nor are other pistons fans. we know the team isn't the best in the NBA, but that doesn't make us delusional/biased for being optimistic and supporting our favorite team.
When Kennard plays well Detroit has been a force, but he disappears a lot. Hopefully this will be a breakthrough to more consistent play. Realistic if they can give Mil six games that would be a positive.

I wonder how many of the “fans” here haven’t been a fan since 2016 or 2009? I watched every game this season so I can tell you that no way in HELL they are beating the bucks. For 3 reasons.. 1. Blake is hurt. He had that 45 point explosion but aggravated his knee again. Besides that game he hasn’t looked right in a couple weeks that’s why we dropped to 8th. We’ve been looking like shit. 2. SIZE disadvantage. They have tall wings we have short wings. The inky guy with size is GR3 and he doesn’t play much. The others svi and khyri don’t play at all becssue Casey is a dumbshit for not giving them more time this season. 3. Overall skill. They shoot lights out. We struggle to score on most possessions. I hope Blake comes back healthy cuz if he does it could be fun at times and we could prolly win a game maybe 2. They dismantled us in regular season I don’t see much changing. Anyways go pistons!!
