- Set out into the great unknown with hopes of catching a big fluke. Didn't get what I was after but did have a good day exploring new waters. But really it was the ocean sunfish Ill remember most from this day.

I love that you were content with keeping just one fish. I mean, you had to keep that second one, but that's very understandable. Thanks for being so conscientious.🏆
Been watching you for years. Glad to see you putting more content out. You’ve come a long way in your older years, a net and pliers. I’m impressed. Now all you need is sunscreen for those lobster legs.
Yep I brought just a little bit of sunscreen, worst sunburn in years
a bucktail and a 4in strip of bacon tied on with fishing twine works great as flonder bait dont know why sounds crazy but i caught a 23 in fluke i called it a doormat @@ChrisMcIntee
Thanks philly boy. Your accent is what made me like your channel. I'm from bucks county, live in fla now. Miss the familiar talk. Been watching you for quite some time.
You make catching fish in the ocean look like catching newly stocked trout in Levittown lake. Dam you're good
Always worth the wait, and Ollie was a bonus.
That looked like a whole lot of fun! Nice job!!
I don't wanna be a pain in the ass but seeing you is like seeing an old friend. Makes me happy
Love days when it's flat out. I don't get "" sea sick "". But, it stinks being banged around and dropping stuff while trying to fish and unhook, bait, etc. Good video! Safe travels and God bless
I live in Oklahoma but watched your videos for a long time always liked the kayak videos I went out last weekend catching some slabs of a different breed the crappie bite was smokin!! lol keep the content coming!!! best of luck!!!
Great haul there......I fish out of Montauk on charter boats, the fluke grounds are overrun by sea robins and mackerel.
Dude I love you had that cooler since day 1! Appreciate the video
that cooler has some years on it at this point
I enjoyed your video. Thanks for posting. Excellent, informative narration !
Not asking where the "spot" is, but can would give a rough location, (i.e. Rhode Island, Eastern CT, Western CT, etc.) ?
Dam Great Day! Striaght slayed them! 50+ fish day!
Great day roof fishing
sick vid sea money appreciate the content
John spinner catch them pretty good 😂😂lmao 😅🤣🤣🤣
I'd kill to be able to catch those big blues "accidentally," down here in MD. My smoker would run 24/7! Good video, I like the rigs you use, simple and effective.
ha yes the blues dont seem to like the state of maryland.
John Spinner!!!! Lol
Thank you for sharing
Comment for algorithm. Content better than ever.
Excellent vid
Casting at the sunfish is a seasonal tradition at this point
Great Video!
What type of skirt and spinner do you have attached to the line?
If you aren't keeping fish, I'd be fishing for blues 24/7 that looks like insane fun. Where I live they get 2 pounds max
Hey how do you like that Daiwa back bay rod? Was thinking about grabbing one
Did you see where that dude put a go pro on his fluke bait? 6 or 8 fish were fighting over it. Pretty cool
That is cool! I don't do a lot of saltwater fishing but I would like to watch that.
Your knees look like pink salmon lol, put some sunblock on those bad boys !!
Dude 10 Oz sinker? I catfish and I use like 1 or 2 Oz, I couldn't imagine how jacked your forearms get from reeling that 😂
Nice!!
Hi! Do you have links for your john spinner?
Noice video mate 👌
What rod is your baitcaster reel on? Like the cork handles and looks like it had good action with that 8oz sinker on there.
its a g loomin pro blue 7' I have to check the action on it I believe its a 3/4-2oz rod
@@ChrisMcIntee is it medium/moderate fast or the heavy/moderate? looked like the action was more fast but also you had a real heavy sinker there!
Ollie seems like the best catch.
yep you got that right
Its the glo bro. Any gulp with glow is tougher
Fluke are my favorite eating fish
You think I could just tie a drop shot knot for that type of rig Or will it be too weak?
yea if you tie a dropper loop above a sinker that is one of the most popular rigs for fluke
I Miss your videos ...... Bring back the Bacon/Hotdog
Bought some bacon 2 weeks ago and it didn’t work haha
Why would you want to bleed a fish you are going to use for bait? Surely using it unbled would improve it's actractivness with the additional scent.
Seemed like the easiest way to kill it at the time. You’re right tho would be good to keep the blood in
When I was a kid down in st Augustin these old colored ladies were catching small flounder in matanzas inlet. I told pop he was fishing with a Mitchell 300 and a conlon rod ( the black rod) he caught an 11lb flounder free lining a big shrimp. You bring back memories. Thank you.
You just fillet a bluefish that was still alive???
I think the fluke were cooked medium well. Keep em coming C $ .
What's the difference betwixt fluke and flounder?
Same thing. New Englanders call them fluke because there’s lots of winter flounder (used to be) up here. Flounder around here are “black backs” while summer flounder are called fluke.
Fluke have teeth where as flounder do not.
@@phillipwasson2980 that's just incorrect...
....oh look,...a baby wheel
whatup sea money
What kind of spinning rod is that
i dying for flounder and your throwing them back,,,what about the homeless guy praying for crabmeat stuffed flounder with a nice white wine, followed by a chocolate dripped cheese cake...he gets no mercy from you.!! may a BIG bluefish bite him in the nuts!!!!!
may MANY a sea robin come YOUR WAY...
you aren't catching a sun fish unless your bait is a jellyfish
