There are around 100 kpop groups debuting in 2020...i didnt even hear news about most of them. I am glad Brave Girls got this moment though, hope their comeback is good too

It's just such an incredible story. Yujeong especially is known for her constant, infectious smile every time she performs. And she was at rock-bottom, crying to her mom and completely unsure of herself. Then all of a sudden the most unexpected rise to the absolute top, truly from the bottom of a dark well up into the sky. Sorry to sound dramatic, but I've been following Brave Girls for 10 years and I'm just glowing seeing them FINALLY succeed!
As someone who has stanned them for a long time I feel the same and have seen the member changes, the fails, and my bias (Eunyoung) leaving. They've been through a whole lot 😢

Also got to give respect to Brave Brothers (CEO) for keeping this group for 10 years. Going to a military show 100 times is a guarantee to lose money. No agency will do that. He knew these girls not being on TV, he wanted these girls to gain confidence and gain experience on the stage, even though it will cost him a lot of money. and that is what girls say too, because of being on the military shows they weren't nervous being on stage when they come back after viral video hit. So it worked. They also gained confidence, people love them because they went to military shows. Also, no company keeps failed girl group for 10 years without disband. His company Brave has no artist who makes money. CEO himself is the only person who makes a profit by producing for various artists. So think about that, he produces songs to make money so he keeps Brave Girls maintain for 10 years. It is an industry where Girl-groups disappear within few years if they do not perform well, so maintaining not well-known girl group for 10 years is not normal for a CEO. Usually, you create Girl-group to make money, but he once said "I think of Brave Girls as family, not a product" So much as we give props to Brave Girls if the Brave Brothers did not wait or provide these girls with funds these girls could not get this far. or this group could not survive. and disbandment decision at the end was made by the girls, not the CEO. Minyoung sent a long email to CEO on the Feb. 23rd about the possible disbandment of the group. so they agree to have a meeting. but Feb.24th the very next day Viral video was uploaded. So they did not have to disband and the meeting turned out to be meeting about a new start. :) That is how royal the CEO was. That is why when girls were asked what they will do when they get paid, the first thing they will do is buy CEO a present because he was the only person who believed in them.
I've seen a lot of people in some YT comments have been criticizing him left and right due to some of his failed boy group projects, but it doesn't really include anything about the Brave Girls still not being disbanded. I get that ofc he did make some mistakes because no one's perfect. Any company has had at least a flop or two. Though, I've always thought at the back of my mind that 'yeah, I wonder why Brave Girls are still together' especially when they still came back with We Ride. I believe their CEO was just waiting for them to blow up so he used all of that time to build their experience *just as you mentioned* and it was really smart that they went to places where girl groups would normally reject. It's an automatic fan monopoly. Their story also inspired the ordinary Korean who at their ages are leading simple lives with plain jobs. I read that the CEO almost cried when he saw them winning an award. He was so happy for them. And when the girls found out, they also cried. The entire staff has been emotional at this surprising success.

They've gone from a fancafe with ten people in it and frequently not being on the security list when they attended music shows to (from what I've heard) six funded billboard ad campaigns for Yuna's birthday next month and the highest-charting GG song of all time by a LOT. I was one of those people that have been waiting since 2018 for Rose's solo, and was ecstatic when we finally got it. Then I find out about Brave Girls & immediately became obsessed with them. While I clearly wanted Rose to win on those music shows (and as of right now she has two wins) Brave Girls truly deserve every win they can get their hands on. It's so nice to see a group that has members a bit more closer to my age. I feel like I can relate to them a bit more.

Deepened was actually originally written for AfterSchool, probably got changed a bit to fit BraveGirls since they had a rapper at that time. But BraveBrothers reused the demo and certain elements of what was supposed to be AfterSchool's comeback song and wrote Park Bom's Spring out of it as well.

Honestly I have been their fans since High Heels era and then continue until Rollin' and We Ride. I watched them (Yujeong and Eunji, as only two of them passed) in the unit show, I watched Eunji perform for Park Bom in Queendom, and after that I really don't know what will happen to the group in the future. As I heard about Brave Girls are disbanding, it really hurts me a lot. I was listening to We Ride again, watching them perform on stage on repeat. I said to myself "I guess this is a goodbye then...". UNTIL the military Rollin' video pops up on RUclips. It really was a changing moments for the girls and Fearless. I cried a lot after Brave Girls finally acknowledged in the music Industry, I cried again after Rollin' got its first PAK, got its first win. I'm just very happy for the girls now. They have so little hope and yet still so much happiness given to their fans (including in the military). And now they are going to release another album called "THANK YOU", I don't know if it'll be their last album or not, but I will always support them. Everyone please support Brave Girls on their next comeback!! THANK YOU!

Just as BG's story, their ceo BB has a very inspiring story too. a problematic teenager, who ended up in a gang. having 12-violence related crime, he also went to juvenile detention. without much knowledge about music he start from scratch, formed a group with his brother (thats why twas called Brave Brothers) as a duo rappers, he was suppose to debut in YG as an artist but it didnt come to fruition thats where he start producing songs you will definitely find him scary and intimidating but he's a soft person, you could even called him a mama's boy. he attends church everyday to pray along with his mother, and for five years he's been organizing feeding programs for homeless and less fortunate. he's not perfect, but he's definitely a respectable person.
Great video. Every time I get to the end where Yujeong’s Mom calls them, I cry. That part gets me every time. I am a father and I know what it is to watch my adult child struggle, then find success.
BG have to be the most sincere group I've ever seen. I was lucky enough to be at their Chicago show this year which of course wouldn't have ever happened if the community hadn't come through for them, and their energy and stage presence was amazing.
Its quite unexpected for one 4 year old song to skyrocket up the charts, but We Ride is in the Top #5 of all Charts now and High Heels is storming up the Charts. It means that the Korean Public is not listening to just one older song, Rollin', but 3. This reversal is unheard of.
Thank you for making this excellent video and for the translations, especially for their interviews. I got emotional seeing the review of their career. I sincerely believe this story deserves to be written in Kpop history and even a movie or drama to be made based on it. We can learn abit or two from Brave Girls, to keep faith and preservere when the going gets tough. As a fan of underrated groups like Elris, Fromis_9, LOONA etc, I have seen ups and downs but all these cannot be compared with the lack of visibility that Brave Girls endured for their whole career. Every time I come across a video about their comeback, their resurgence with Rollin', it makes me so happy. Viditor makes compilation video for pretty much every group, but the only group that went viral is Brave Girls. It is not a coincidence. The only video that kept me entertained out of all Viditors video was Brave Girls’ video. They seem to have so much fun even though they were performing in the military bases. I loved their attitude and smile coming out of the screen.
I'm so hopeful for the Brave Girls. This is my first time seeing Minyoung's and Yujeong's speeches translated and it brought me to tears. So much as we give props to Brave Girls if the Brave Brothers did not wait or provide these girls with funds these girls could not get this far. or this group could not survive.
and disbandment decision at the end was made by the girls, not the CEO. Minyoung sent a long email to CEO on the Feb. 23rd about the possible disbandment of the group. so they agree to have a meeting. but Feb.24th the very next day Viral video was uploaded. So they did not have to disband and the meeting turned out to be meeting about a new start. :)

That is why when girls were asked what they will do when they get paid, the first thing they will do is buy CEO a present because he was the only person who believed in them.
I've seen a lot of people in some YT comments have been criticizing him left and right due to some of his failed boy group projects, but it doesn't really include anything about the Brave Girls still not being disbanded. I get that ofc he did make some mistakes because no one's perfect. Any company has had at least a flop or two. Though, I've always thought at the back of my mind that 'yeah, I wonder why Brave Girls are still together' especially when they still came back with We Ride. I believe their CEO was just waiting for them to blow up so he used all of that time to build their experience *just as you mentioned* and it was really smart that they went to places where girl groups would normally reject. It's an automatic fan monopoly. Their story also inspired the ordinary Korean who at their ages are leading simple lives with plain jobs. It's always nice to see someone at their age succeed after a lot of tough times. I hope that they gain even more with their planned summer comeback ❤️
I read that the CEO almost cried when he saw them winning an award. He was so happy for them. And when the girls found out, they also cried. The entire staff has been emotional at this surprising success.

I called those albums "K-pop for adults". But I thought they were done a couple of times. And now this! The Korean soldiers certainly have good taste! I was one of those people that have been waiting since 2018 for Rose's solo, and was ecstatic when we finally got it. Then I find out about Brave Girls & immediately became obsessed with them. While I clearly wanted Rose to win on those music shows (and as of right now she has two wins) Brave Girls truly deserve every win they can get their hands on. It's so nice to see a group that has members a bit more closer to my age. I feel like I can relate to them a bit more.

Deepened was actually originally written for AfterSchool, probably got changed a bit to fit BraveGirls since they had a rapper at that time. But BraveBrothers reused the demo and certain elements of what was supposed to be AfterSchool's comeback song and wrote Park Bom's Spring out of it as well.

Honestly I have been their fans since High Heels era and then continue until Rollin' and We Ride. I watched them (Yujeong and Eunji, as only two of them passed) in the unit show, I watched Eunji perform for Park Bom in Queendom, and after that I really don't know what will happen to the group in the future. As I heard about Brave Girls are disbanding, it really hurts me a lot. I was listening to We Ride again, watching them perform on stage on repeat. I said to myself "I guess this is a goodbye then...". UNTIL the military Rollin' video pops up on RUclips. It really was a changing moments for the girls and Fearless. I cried a lot after Brave Girls finally acknowledged in the music Industry, I cried again after Rollin' got its first PAK, got its first win. I'm just very happy for the girls now. They have so little hope and yet still so much happiness given to their fans (including in the military). And now they are going to release another album called "THANK YOU", I don't know if it'll be their last album or not, but I will always support them. Everyone please support Brave Girls on their next comeback!! THANK YOU!

he attends church everyday to pray along with his mother, and for five years he's been organizing feeding programs for homeless and less fortunate.
he's not perfect, but he's definitely a respectable person.

BG have to be the most sincere group I've ever seen. I was lucky enough to be at their Chicago show this year which of course wouldn't have ever happened if the community hadn't come through for them, and their energy and stage presence was amazing.
Its quite unexpected for one 4 year old song to skyrocket up the charts, but We Ride is in the Top #5 of all Charts now and High Heels is storming up the Charts. It means that the Korean Public is not listening to just one older song, Rollin', but 3. This reversal is unheard of.
I just want the former members to appear/perform with them on their last stage for Rollin promotion. Just to celebrate. 😭😭😭❣❣❣

I sincerely believe this story deserves to be written in Kpop history and even a movie or drama to be made based on it. We can learn abit or two from Brave Girls, to keep faith and preservere when the going gets tough.
As a fan of underrated groups like Elris, Fromis_9, LOONA etc, I have seen ups and downs but all these cannot be compared with the lack of visibility that Brave Girls endured for their whole career. I hope that they will start to reap the rewards of their labours now.

I have been a Fearless since Deepened and always hoped they would get recognized in Korea. And each comeback, nothing and members were leaving too. It broke my heart because they are awesome, talented women who deserve wins and recognition.

Every time I come across a video about their comeback, their resurgence with Rollin', it makes me so happy. Like imagine being days away from disbanding after years of not really getting successful and them BAM! you're back in it. Winning shows left and right. They really deserve it, they worked so hard.
