It's my understanding that snow is extremely rare in Sydney, Australia. Yet, this moving white fluff on the lawn makes me think of elongated snowdrops undulating to the rhythm of the wind, brilliant white and enchanting and full of mischief.
That was quite a feed. It's interesting, and a bit sad, to watch Matt the Mangey interact with other birbs. He's traumatized but can still get water and such. I look forward to watching him forage with the others and grow. I get the impression he isn't the kind to take any crap, so once he gets comfortable with the mayhem he might work his way to the seed. ...I take it the Rexy-ish screech is a juvi-birb kind of sound. Interesting how S. Rex kept his voice over the years. I wonder if Mattie will do the same.
Dear Jim, if you wish to stretch your wings, please fly over to English Tests and Logical Reasoning. I've left my "Inheritance" there. Happy travels! 🕊️🦋
