When Belmo threw the ball at the Masters, the ball changed direction SUPER hard. The ball looks really good, too.
The fact that no one ever mentions how good the all-road is is crazy to me😟 I got my first 300 with that ball and dozens of 270s

I have never had a Hy-Road, mainly because of the huge difference in numbers between 15 and 14 pounds. I might be getting this for the burn.
I still have the hy-road pearl, but before that, I had the Storm Thunder Road SE from wayy back in like, ~2003
I have my GOAT bowling ball, the Crossroad.
I love the max. It's so smooth and controllable. This one looks really good.

Been using a Hy-Road X for many years now. 90% of the time it's the first ball out of the bag on our THS league. Love how that ball rolls into the pocket. I wish Storm wouldn't forget about this one like so many others that have been forgotten.
I’ve been wanting a hyroad x but there hard to find
I've had countless Hyroads. Still a "Goat" ball to this day. I bring 6 balls to league every night then have a special 2 ball tote with a Hyroad and Hyroad Pearl in it. Just in case.

I don’t have one but a friend of mine has one and it’s by far the best smelling bowling ball I’ve ever had the pleasure of smelling.

Shot my 3rd 300 with my hyroad and my first 800 in the same series with it and a phaze EX in December
I had an origional Hyroad but it wasn't just any Hyroad, it was Tim Macks :D He just gave it to me after a tournament lol
My Hyroad Gold is everything and my Night Road is great
Been having some success with an Allroad that I picked up last summer. Find it useful when I'm leaving too many 10pins with my lower RG stuff. Also had decent results with my T-Road solid back 10 to 15 years ago. Not sure why T-Roads hardly get any mention, as they were the solid and the pearl that begat Hy-Road.
My Hy-Road Pearl is still my go to ball on the burn burn. Old reliable. The Spectre was on pace to replace it ... and then .. womp womp. !Q Ruby is close but still bring my HRP out.

I've previously had the Victory Road. Now the only road-ball I have is the Hy-Road Pearl. Both of them are definitely (for its purpose) two of the best balls I've thrown.
Only one I've had a the hyroad x, loved that ball but all my bowling equipment was stolen years ago and when I went to buy another the price had gone up a lot since they don't make it anymore

I had both of the hyroads and never really match up with them. I don’t know if it was layouts or when I was trying to use them. Can’t wait to order my road

I have the OG HyRoad, I don't use it but still have it for some reason. I never matched up well with it, no matter what I tried. The most surprising thing to me is that it still hasn't cracked out after all these years of sitting on a shelf! Maybe that cover stock IS a little different.
I love my Hy-road i have 2 drilled 1 negative wait for when i need to get it farther down lane works great
I have the og Hyroad and 2 Night Roads. Night Road with surface is ridiculously good on short to medium sport patterns.
I had the T-Road Pearl that the Hy-Road was developed from. 2 Hy-Roads and a Hy-Road Pearl. One 800 with a Hy-Road and a top 5 at the Hoinke with the Pearl
HyRoad Peral was one of my first balls and I love it, just need to get it re-drilled since the layout isn't ideal. But I love my NightRoad. Sad they discontinued it shortly after they released it but thats what they do some times.

My favorite HyRoad's were the Solid and the Nano; First 300 and 800 respectively
Currently own a hyroad and hyroad pearl, had my fair share of the balls in the series but my favorite was the Hyroad nano. Looking forward to seeing this ball on the lanes
I have the Hy-Road Pearl. And I hate that I love that ball. Only because I feel like oil patterns at my house break down way too fast which forces me into the Hy-Road Pearl too early (Game 2). Otherwise, it is the most reliable ball in my bag. Nice and smooth into the pocket. I could see The Road being a great ball when the Hy-Road Pearl is a bit too weak to get the corner pins out.
Definitely have a Hy-Road. Please storm do not discontinue the hy-road and hy-road Pearl.

I used a Hy-road pearl before I had to switch to 2h. i liked that ball and was my goto ball to play shallower angles.
Hy-road Pearl, never gets replaced in the bag. If I need to replace it, the Road should work.
I throw 14lbs and I'm glad we can finally get the same diff stats in all weights instead of only being able to get true diff stats with the heavier balls...
Loved my hyroad max! Green apple aroma was an added plus. Had to dispose of it after the bowling center destroyed the finish one too many times. 😢

many years ago say 6 or 7, i cared about the color of the bowling ball, and i love red and i hate blue, so when the hyroad came out i didnt want it cause blue and i wanted the fireroad cause it was red and i thought it had a better look going down the lane, and it was a good ball but my ball cracked and i had to replace it a few years later, and i see that the fireroad along with the crossroads were not good and they discontinued those quick and the ball that ended up being long time made was the hyroad, and so i did end up getting the hyroad cause i wanted to see how good the ball was and it is really good, love the pop on the back but i can go straight too, just really controllable. Now in 2024 idc about the color of the ball, my main go to is the proton its pink with pink grips and i got the hyroad blue ball, one of the best bowling balls ive had, last week in league i shot 248 with it. love the hyroad but im happy that they have finally made a solid version of the hyroad.

Like #500!!! Good video Jungo. To answer your question, I have not had any Hy Roads... I am still fairly new to SPI... i have the Duo, Motiv Black Venom, Hustle M-M, Pitch Black for the middle / bottom of my bag.
I’ve never thrown the og hyroad but I have had 4 hy road pearls, a hyroad solid, hyroad x, hyroad maxx and the pearl, the x and the maxx have been been my benchmark for a while now since the marvel pearl and rocket. Still think my favorite ball to date is probably the rocket. A lot of state championship wins with that ball and several high games and series with the rocket. Maybe the thunder series balls just match up very well with my game cause I don’t think I’ve ever had a bad thunder line ball
I have a Hy-Road Pearl, the extra beefy 16# version, but it's set up for 2 handed so hasn't been thrown in a while.
Just the Hyroad hybrid, I usually put a 3000 grit surface on, and its my benchmark ball the first ball out the bag for me.
I'll point something else out, the Hyroad and Hyroad Pearl have R2S cover on them, but The Road has the REX Hybrid cover.

Don't use it right now due to it being too condition specific and not as good as my Phaze 2, Dark Code, and other balls. Can only bring 4 balls to league LOL!

Ball looks more like it reads back to front pretty hard more than laterally.

I’ve had the hyroad, hyroad pearl, hyroad nano and the all road. Almost bought a night road but bought the Fate instead, in 16lb the cores are too similar to warrant me buying both.
I had a hyroad and I just gave away my Pearl b/c I'm going to replace it with this ball. The Night Road was my favorite by far so I have high hopes for this one with the same cover formula. The Pearl was just too jumpy, and if I tried to put surface on it to try to get it close to the Night Road, it was still just too much on the back end.

What's the difference between this ball and the iq ruby? Which scenario would either prevail in?
The Ruby has a lower RG so it will be earlier and smoother!

i think they should have changed the name of the line using AI, anyone who used to use a "road" ball in 14 or 16 pound is getting a vastly different reaction
"street" would have been fine. could lead into "easy" "mean" "back" "hy" "high"
