Hello! I just got an email from Samsung that my trade in is completed and got full $900 trade in value. Thank you for your step-by-step guide video! It really helped me a lot!! Thank you so much!
About to do a trade in myself and this video really came in clutch. Thank you for actually showing the WHOLE process, especially on how to tape the label and the actual drop off process. Everyone else always seem to skip these parts and simply show the packing process, like I know how to pack a box I just don't know how to ship the box 😅
What happened at the end? Did you get the full trade in amount? Did your phone get delivered? I am asking because your video has been so helpful to me and Today I recorded a video ans shipped my phone over.
The part at the end was me shipping my device. I received the full trade-in amount Yes it did get delivered This video was published before Samsung approved my Trade-in. Thanks for the questions I will update the description to help others with the same questions Appropriate the support! Hopefully your trade gets approved 👍
Yes. I took great documentation and glad I did. I just traded my S10 5G and they tried to say that I sent them a S10 instead and was going to charge me $35 for the difference. I immediately told them that when you go to the about phone info, it clearly says S10 5G. Not only that, it's on the back of the phone and it states that when you start the phone 🙄. I told them if you charge my card I will dispute it and send the evidence to my credit card company as well. 2 mins letter they said they received the correct device and my card will not me charged. This whole experience with Samsung has truly been a headache. 3rd party sellers for now on. Document everything!
Everyone's experience is either "Great or Terrible." Thank you for sharing your experience. I personally have not found any 3rd party that gives as big of a discount as Samsung themselves. Which 3rd party do you plan on using in the future? I would love to compare
I am about to send in my fold 4, followed all of your instructions got pictures videos all that good jazz going, still very stressed about it, its alot of money. Going back to the good ol slab design with the s23 ultra🤤
does this have to be sent back after you receive your new phone ? i just wanted to check as would need to transfer over my data to my new handset before being able to send the trade in
You will first receive your device after that Samsung gives you about 2 weeks to transfer data over and mail your old device. Apologies for the late reply 🙏
My phone(S9) was cracked all across the screen and even had a nasty impact mark from where it fell on a rock. Verizon still took it and gave me full trade in value of $800 and I parlayed that into a Galaxy S22.
I believe at&t also had a promotion where even if you gave them a battery and screen duct taped together they'll give you a discount on the s22. (Really good deal)
@@lolmetswhathappeneduhhh2029 personally I believe its to take the working parts since they can still use em on their mid range and low range phones. As well as using the parts to test out new technologies without destroying expensive new parts Also because the more the s22 sell the more investors are happy (many more reasons also)
I traded in a lot i noticed item get reject are mostly brand new looking item, or small like watches. While tablet alway get approved. My thought is that someone's work there alway swapping bad watch for good one. That why most of my trade in device look beat up or have scratched but always get approcved except something brand new. Samsung need ro monitors all those worker who does the boxes opening and inspecting before turning a customer into a victims
For the most part is in Samsung credit. However the credit goes to reducing the price of the new device. Samsung had a promotion where you gain 200 dollars In Samsung credit as well as a reduction in price, but I'm sure that's long gone by now.
I have a Galaxy S20 Plus. Samsung website says that cracked screen discount 585 dlls of galaxy s22 ultra. Mine is cracked in front, back, touch sometimes doesn't not work in some Parts and now sometimes get half of screen green. Does the promotion still apply on my Phone?
@@armandoojeda3221 Yes it does apply however you most likely get less than 535+ since the device has more damage on it. Samsung recycles most of its components so you should still get some trade in value (for the most part).
1. If you mean the box to ship the device in, the box came in with the new phone I ordered. I just re-used the box 2. If you mean the phone box, I didn't use a phone box since I didn't have it. Samsung still approved my trade in. Hopefully this helps!

My new samsung phone arrived yesterday and i have not yet got an email about the shipping label. I checked my emails as well as my spam emails and nothing. I also checked "my orders" all it said about the trade-in "created." My phone arrived earlier and the expected delivery date, does this mean I still have to wait for the email??
Since it arrived earlier than expected you will most likely need to wait until 1-3 days before it was meant to arrive. If you haven't received the email by the day it was scheduled to arrive, make sure to go to www.samsung.com/us/support/order-help/
