Been using that blue light ya have under the frame on my road bike for years... got it from Walmart. Now I use it on my XP the same way you do but I leave it on flash to get driver's attention from a distance. Make sure u get a flashing red light for the back as well.

Love my Gobrightz which I purchased from 2nd hand store for the price of juicy fruit gum. I'd recommend using black electric tape to kill to birds with one stone. Secure investment from loss or theft and tighten up hanging straps. Orbitz is found at Walmart. I doubt drivers think you are broke because you only got one spoke light. Most people have no spike light.
As tall as you are and as long as your legs are, you need to put that seat up higher. I see way too many guys who are tall and all have their seats too low. Your not a youth biking with an old style stingray. You are adult height. Put your seat up higher. It will pay off.
You should try spoke lights there a lot lot brighter Or action glow lights but they're very pricey. But they should really do is enforce the law on people on their phones talking and texting while driving bunch of idiots.. When I ride my fat tire bike I have lots of lights my newest are hub lights so idiots driving in their cars and on their phones can see me Is PS the brighter the better.😁
