    This video is hands down the easiest way to explain how to skate lace or replace a laced pocket for dummies. I've done this about 6 times now and each time this video has helped me get the initial motions going

    thanks!! was waiting for. double T video. I guess the middle cord we just remove one hole at a time and follow?

      salman13 the middle t is pretty easy. just remove and start a lace along bottom. lace straight up that side. come back down the other side but looped twice into the right loop and back to the left side hole then repeat

      1532chris I think the waxed laces are more durable. The unwaxed are not

    I missed the video explaining "Why" you would want to do this.
    - Easier to close? Better catching? Old laces worn out?

      I find that the skate lace has less resistance than the nylon cord. Very very minimal scientific proof of that but it also looks better. Also the original nylon cord in my mind causes more pop outs of the puck. Probably because it's tighter. The skate lace can be as tight or loose as you make it.

    So when your lacing from bottom to top its the 2 top loops you go through and when lacing top to bottom its the 2 bottom loops you go through it looks like ?

    • @pogie34
      @pogie34  6 лет назад

      Dill Wiggle I never start from the bottom to the top. I always start at the top. Should have 3 loop start. Once you come back the other direction it should be skip the first loop then get the second and third. Then binding and head opposite direction and repeat

    What length laces did you use ? I guess the longer the better and can just make a knot at the end ?

    • @pogie34
      @pogie34  6 лет назад

      Dill Wiggle use 120s and cut off what you don't need. Which is usually about 7 to 10 inches left over. Knot it and melt with a lighter
