He built a PvE map, Wildcard paid him for it, and they didn't modify it well enough for PvP. Nekatus isn't the one making the calls at the end of the day, he's just doing his job.

I remember seeing Nekatus getting BUTTHURT when Lost Island was announced as the next community map instead of Fjordur. Legit threw a hissy fit. Ced got on there like "We love you! " Fjordur is a really good map but some of the aspects like the ele situation and a WC that doesn't listen to the community put a bad taste in peoples mouths. Would've been nice to PVP on a map other than Center for a chance
@@thecyanadon How would making Fjordur PVP focused negatively effect the experience for PVE? If maps have strong locations geared towards PVP idk how that would effect PVE experiences. Nekatus makes good maps but he has a bad attitude towards the community and even the dev team if he doesn't get his way. Fjordur is fun but they should've cut ties with him when he threw his hissy fit when LI was selected instead of Fjordur.

@@jakev227 PvP is the minority of players yet they act like they are everyone. Only reason the changes happen is because pvp players complain about stuff that makes pve fun. Ark was never marketed as a PvP game, it is a dinosaur survival game to play with friends.

I completely agree and to go on top of what u already said is the teleporting feature is cool but dumb like for example me and my tribe decided to give this tribe an online raid for some fun so we fob up and start soaking and the second we start they take literally everything in there base and teleport away and they didn’t even have tek it’s just another reason why fjoudur isn’t a good pvp map and I 💯 with u on the changes that need to come to this map
Yeah the bird is kinda broken even for PVE, i hate using it because it make the game soooo easy :/ i really wish it was capped to weight like if the bird only have 40 weight and you have 140 weight then he should only be able to bring 40 weight of everything you had
