BLE often needs location information as it's a signal that can be tracked, not that they are necessarily tracking. I had this porblem when I was trying to design a BLE app :P
One could argue that bluetooth classic is a PAN and you can be a beacon when that's active
Your IR remote wasnt working properly because you used it outside in the broad daylight.. Sun emit IR light and it enterfere with the signal of that remote controller. You should use it inside

It's possible to add a lot more ground clearance by mounting the motors below the bottom chassis plate. This will effectively raise the bottom of the car the width of the motor.
Do you recall this one over the self balancing car for an engineering student looking to improve their electronics and programming skills?
are u able to code iit to specific things, like can you program to follow a line and when their is an object is in front the vehicle will stop and will continue once their is no object in front, or can you do adaptive cruise control with the front mount sensor, I really hope their is no lack of coding.
You need location services for Bluetooth BLE. This is why the permission is requested.

I believe your line tracking test failed because your tape is much too wide. Get rid of the green tape and use only the black.
the car is terrible it can't even connect with the app to control it!
