I have a fix. Instead of doing the IAD, JM, and dash, just wait until Bardock hits the ground after the 236M and just do the rest of what the video says; instead of the 214M, do a 214L, but for the combo without the ki blast, you can do a 214M. If it's too difficult to do the combo once Bardock hits the ground because the timing is difficult, then try to use an assist during or right after the 236M. It depends on what character's assist you're using. The assist I use is Ultra Instinct Goku's C assist which I use during the 236M, or I use Trunk's C assist right after the 236M. Hope this helps.
You want to IMMEDIATELY press medium after inputting the air dash. It helps if you learn how to do a regular rejump, because this is actually easier with that experience.
It does work you change it a little bit 0:35 instead of letting both hits connect you only let 1 You skip0:44-1:01 and just do a 5l and the combo still works
if you're watching it muted then if you can watch 0:45 with volume where i say what it is and how to do it. also be sure to check the description for fully translated notation definitions

I don’t know why, but whenever I try to catch them with a jumping medium, it never seems to land, as they always recover and I land on the ground.
