i think the fact that one object is specifically named "carabiner" (a clip used by mountain climbers (and lesbians, i know)) could suggest that it's either currently planned to, or was at one point planned to, be some kind of outdoorsy climbing-gear-esque brand. that would absolutely fit S3's aesthetic, what with the hydration pack ink tank and with its main stage being in a rocky gorge. One thing that does make this a bit harder to believe, though, is that the most fitting brand for this would be Inkline, but Inkline already has an existing second kit weapon. it doesn't make it impossible, but they'd need to do some extra work to explain it and to come up with a third Tri-Stringer kit.
and seeing how the next console most likely will be announced in the next financial year (april for japan), 3d kids are very possible. (could also be announced before april then come out after april but)

If we got a new collection for third kits, I want them to be Idol Sponsors. Have each of the idols create their own kits for weapons of their respective class (either their canonical mains or ones that don’t have third kits, so say Pearl would either sponsor Splat Dualies or Tetra Dualies). They’d have aesthetics matching their specific idol and their history (so Callie’s Roller could be a pink version of the Hero Roller and maybe have some nod to the Hypnoshades), and have kits inspired by things associated with them. For example, a Dread kit from Big Man (because Dread deserves it and it’s the S3 Slosher) could have a red and gray color scheme, the Manta Clan mark on it, and use Torpedo and Tristrike, two weapons he uses in Alterna.

Since switch 2 is confirmed backwards compatable, they won’t need to make any special port. Just add more content to generate more interest at the launch of the new console, to get more new players and to get old players to come back. More content such as third kits, come on Nintendo, it would be so easy

@ I think a rerelease could create a lot of problems, because I doubt that many Splatoon 3 owners will want to buy it. But if the rerelease uses the new hardware, the servers likely wont be compatible with the original S3. It’s going to split the playerbase, negatively impacting the servers of both versions. So if there isn’t cross play, they are effectively making Splatoon 4 but without the features to justify most players making the switch. But if they do manage cross play, it’s going to be a lot of wasted effort since it’s effectively $60 DLC (unlike TotK, it’s for real this time). In fact, Nintendo has kept all of the multiplayer DLC free for a reason, if a rerelease kit is good then the game is suddenly pay to win.

Reminder that after splatoon 2 stopped their monthly updates in dec 2018. there's a 3 month hiatus in between new kits being dropped and they released more in march in 2019.
If we were to get third kits, and they are all branded after the same brand, (like Kensa collection) I hope they make Emberz their color scheme. Emberz main colors of red, blue, and light green are really cool, and many weapons could look awesome and/or pretty with that as their color scheme. I also don't think it will be Kensa again because lots of Kensa kit subs/specials have been used on the weapons Kensa had accessorized in S2. Emberz being the brand would also be a reverse of Kensa collection, with how Kensa is monotone and orderly, and Emberz is chaotic and colorful. I also think that just a Bloblobber being the BlobMob Bloblobber would be funny. (BlobMob line is Emberz) Emberz would have another reason to be it because it's a new S3 brand, and Toni Kensa was new to S2.
