Emerald is actually the mineral beryl. Where as sapphire and Ruby is corundum. If you look for green beryl, you will get cheap low grade emerald. And same with corundum. If you search that, you’ll get grayish blue hexagonal crystals that are used to make sandpaper and high strength glass.
@@iiniijewelry, I like the beryls. Agua Marine is also beryl. Gemstones are interesting. Check out Black Opal Direct. It is a cool channel showing opals being cut.
