Same here it’s grown on me. I think the spider looks significantly better than the coupe. With all the black panels though it’ll look a lot better in either black or a contrasting color like white. I’d only get it in black or white; though I do like the sea moss green in this ad/video. The Ferrari red doesn’t look good on this car at all.
This is a design that many sensibilities will need time to catch up to. Flavio Manzoni has challenged us once again to look at jarring shapes and angles set in the midst of traditional, classic forms. It is a polarizing design which generally means it is doing something RIGHT! It isn’t a design for simple, pedestrian tastes. Those with an eye for sophistication and appreciation for the daring will likely “get it” right away. Others will come around in time once the shapes they haven’t been used to become familiar and the classic forms take over.
