Connie, CONNIE, CONNIE!! YOU DID AGAIN!!! Love this!I made your. Ornament cards with the " smudged look" and the ones you punched out! Awesome! Tomorrow, going to see Wicked! No stamping! But monday gonna try this one!! Thank you so much for making my Catd making more fun and "Simple" I am gonna make you a Christmas card( may not be all syampin up) I have a lot of cat stamps, like to use those at Christmas to! God bless! Hugs, Deb
I have enjoyed the last two videos VERY much!! Wonderful cards and easy techniques!! Thank you so much, Connie, for helping us make beautiful cards easier!!!!
Love this! I just ran my die cut image through my Xyron sticker maker and did the same thing, but if the image fits the packing tape...well, why not save some cash for more craft supplies! Thank you Connie for your great ideas. You ROCK!
Thanks Connie, I’ve been doing this technique for 25+ yrs BUT the rectangles were new to me. I often put printed paper behind the image. Old sheet music works well behind a circle which w/a bow & string can look like a Christmas ball. Amy Jones Apex, NC
Love this! Reminds me of a "frozen shaker card," in that the glitter doesn't really move or shake, but the end result looks kind of like a shaker card. Would like to try this with other kinds of glitter, too. Thanks for the fabulous idea, once again! That is a wow card in my book!
@@simplysimplestamping Love your description better...the shakeless shaker card! LOL! It's def on my list of cards to try this season. Wishing you and your family a blessed Thanksgiving! (Not ready (mentally) to say Merry Christmas yet...not until after Thursday! Plus I'm sure I'll be commenting before Dec 25th, too!) Have a good night!
Oh how pretty I was a little discouraged thinking I didn’t have the Christmas punches/dies then you solved my problem,,,I can use square, rectangles circles Can’t what to try this out. Gotta buy some glitter
This video was perfect!! I cannot wait to try this packing tape trick. Of course I now MUST look to purchase those rectangle dies. Have a wonderful Thanksgiving!
We don't do tacky (by the way, that was a pun LOL)...you're hilarious, Connie. As always, lovely cards using an easy and efficient glitter technique. TFS Connie! See ya soon, dear!
Terrific video Connie! “We don’t do tacky” - I love it. I haven’t played with that technique in a while. Thanks for the reminder. Have a terrific day and thanks for sharing.❤️
Yes, this is an old way of adding glitter. I done this years ago. I've also used lace over my card and sprinkled glitter through the holes in the lace. That is also very pretty.
So I’m trying to follow what you said. You used the same technique as Connie with the packing tape and then you laid/stuck lace to the sticky tape side and sprinkled glitter on top of the lace causing the lace pattern to design the card through the tape? Thanks. I love the technique Connie just showed here. I’m just trying to ‘see’ in my minds eye what you are saying.
Oh. My. Wow! These are fabulous. I love the tree card so much. I want to reach through my TV screen and grab it! LOL! Thank you so much for sharing this Connie. I am just over the moon!
OMG! Once again you have wowed me with your clever designs! Love these cards! Thank you, Connie, for inspiring, teaching and always making me smile! Have a wonderful Thanksgiving holiday!
Love the technique, only wish she would've done the die cut ones. The punch cards were kind of easy to follow, but I don't know if I really got the die cut cards.
