OMG i cleared this, after so many tries, kept dying to fluid swing, my heart was beating so fast i accidentally clicked off my DPS mimicry halfway through part 2 Siegfried was so easy compared to this, i beat him in one try FINNALLY got my Angel Feathers thx for posting this, this plus the reddit guide really made it more clear on what to do
Huge thanks for this video Meoni! Managed to finish getting all 80 BLU spells with your guides on 29 and 30 these past few days (did 27, 28 and 29 tonight). I found a big thing with Lv29 is patience, and NOT greeding spell casts. I also used Healer stance just because of the MP economy of Pom Cure. I feel it's debatable which stance is better, DPS or Healer, they both have good aspects. I don't even want to think about how many wipes I had because I tried greeding something only to miss the interrupt. >_
I want to post some tips as well to hopefully it will be helpful to some of you! 1. Check your gears. If some of them are not high enough, just buy them from the market board. Also, it's good to have materia meld onto the gears. I had all Crit Hit melded. Make sure to have BLU gears from Latool Ja as well. Try to eat food before entering the stage. 2. Try with healer mimicry and if you think the damage is not enough, switch to DPS mimicry. I tried with healer mimicry for several times but I did not have enough damage to kill the hands quickly as possible so I switched to DPS mimicry and was very successful with it. 3. Make sure to have these skills: (Main dealing skills) Sonic Boom, Electrogenesis, Reflux, Song of Torment (Sub-skills for dealing) Off-Guard, Shock Strike, Feather Rain, Surpanakha, Glass Dance, Magic Hammer (Essential skills) Toad Oil, Exuviation, Flying Sardine, Diamondback, Gobskin (Optional) Devour 4. When the stage starts, use Off-guard, shock strike, feather rain, surpanakha, glass dance, and magic hammer. DO NOT USE IT AGAIN until the hands are spawned. If you use it again, it won't be available to use when the hands are spawned. 5. Try to kill Left Hand first since it drains your MP (5000 at a time). If you have DPS mimicry, Off-guard > Shock Strike > Reflux will kill the hand. While attacking the right hand, watch the Focus Target with Undertow (since Fluid Swing must be interrupted with Flying Sardine). If you cannot kill the right hand quickly, it will use a skill as strong as the Big Splash. Use Feather rain, Surpanakha, glass dance, magic hammer, etc. with Reflux. 6. Make sure to use Flying Sardine after Cascade has been spawned (watch the Undertow). Also, after Cascades are gone, it will use Big Splash again. Watch your HP and MP so you can use Diamondback. Hope everyone can beat this stage! I think I tried more than 20-30 times.. lol
Personally used healer stance, and pom-cured any failures I made. Saves alot of MP in comparison to White Wind, and still is significant, if you're only healing cause you found yourself in an "Oh f*ck" moment, with 400 health, and a broken dream. Also, if you've done this fight enough times to remember when he does his fluid swings, you might aswell grab Bad Breath to interrupt it with. Then he will be a little weaker on top for a while. Not that you should remove flying sardine for it. Sometimes positioning doesn't allow for bad breath. But poison, and lowered damage output? How could you say no to that?
When i did this I use Aetherial mimicry healer + mog cure instead of white wind because i keep messing up due to lag, it might not be the fastest clear, but its the safest choice cuz u can heal yourself (not based on your current HP) and use only 200 MP
I found those two abilities actually gave me leeway to make mistakes. For instance missing a fluid swing or protean wave was no longer a death sentence.
If the second act behave as A3 savage you can dodge the first protean wave, then as do the animation walk in for dodge the second (since there was a hidden aoe)
I'm on this one now, the 2nd part, it's pissing me off.... he uses that move with the + or - symbols and i have N O TIME TO MOVE. I'm just immediately dead....and why the hell wouldn't u use healer stance? use Exuviation to heal w/o draining your mp most of the time... and regen from angel snack. and Gobskin's better omfg I just realized i think he does Throttle before ferrofluid and I'm not noticing.... >.

I cleared this first try after watching your video, using Reflux made the hands so much easier, thank you.

This fight almost drove me mad by far the hardest fight of all 30 in my opinion of course I didn't use heavy on the hands....
i try 3 day but i can't beat add hand by 3 skill

did this as well, really helped when i made dumb mistakes

When I tried with healer mimicry, I didn't have enough damage to kill the hands so I just went with DPS mimicry as well
Good demonstration, thank you very much 👍👍
Try Song of Torment+Bristle its good as a dot
I'm down to trying this only once a day now. It's killing my desire to play the game.

Best blue guide on RUclips, thanks Meoni
