What an inspiration. She is amazing. I'm not an emotional guy but wow I got choked up and I don't know why!! A truly beautiful girl inside and out. Just amazing. Just watched her at Southwick, Mass. Incredible rider, super fast.
Who the heck is the one person that didn't like this video!? I think it's awesome! She is an inspiration to EVERYONE... boy, girls, young, old, deaf or hearing! WOW! What a wonderful person! I'll be cheering for you, Ashley! =)
I race bikes and i think that i have it hard sometimes but Ashley you are an inspiration!!! Your success has made me think and want to push harder!!! great work!!!
She really shows people that there are no boundaries in life. I look up to her, and I'm a boy, cause I have a heart condition and by watching her, it makes me think nothing of it but to only keep going no matter what.
She shows that people are deaf can do just about anything I met her once in person and she is really sweet kind and beautiful I talked to her for about 5 minutes in sign language and she was surprised that I knew how to sign as well as I did
I just watched her on Conan and what a delight she was! She truly is a beautiful delightful talented person, and her father is pretty cool too! Rock on!
If she isn't an inspiration then i don't know what is. That would take so much determination and will power to become as good as she is, WITHOUT being deaf. Props to her! Amazing.
Iv watched this girl the last few years and read about her in magazines . This girl is amazing in her accomplishments in life . She cld of chosen a better rider to look up to. James Stuart I’ve watched for yrs .completely back when him and the little red headed freckle face kid
up north in canada there is a town called Perry Sound, and at the camp for the deaf they have a motocross track, i always thought it was because they wouldnt complain. never thought maybe they rode, call this eye opening. really cool to see
This is indeed a very inspirational story. But as a parent, I'm really curious to learn how is it possible to not realise your child is deaf? You follow their reactions as they respond to their environment. One of the stimuli is obviously sound. If the child is not responding to sounds, then you notice well before one year old, not later. Anyway, Ashley you're an amazing rider. Getting back on the bike after that crash, and winning was awesome.
if you don't get inspired by Ashley story you wan't get inspired by anything. I love you Ashley for the person you are and things you have accomplished. Now to all of you who put the thumb down or left a negative feedback. What is your problem? Is your heart filled with envy and hatred? I don't get it. Do us all a favor and stay out and keep your stupid comments to yourself. You are exactly just kind of people who have never accomplished anything in their lives. good luck to you Ashley
Well, not to minimize the challenges, but this chick is beautiful, smart, and strong. She’s risen to a level that many only aspire to. Life is a funny thing. You go girl!
Thanks Ashley you inspired me alot! I hope I can get good as you... maybe not but your really cool girl and your really pretty too! But hopefully i can go see you ride!!:)
You know ashley makes motocross to be taken seriously by people i mean do you get deaf football, soccer, cricket players i mean this story is amazing.MOTOCROSS RULES,
7 is kinda old both my brother neither of my brothers rode moto with training wheels and my 5 year old brother is really good as in can do national tracks by him self that i have struggled with
im wondering im 15 years old i got a disability and thats being half deaf will i enventully not be able to hear anymore like i cant hear a single sound? i mean i want to know so i could watch how loud my music is playing or all that i use to have a sign laungage teacher when i was in middle school around 3rd grade but they got rid of my teacher cuase they thought i wasnt gonna talk at all.... im just curious and i like moto cross wish i could join but i have a 1983 XL600r lol thanks, Ryan
ooooooooooo man ooo but girl i love your vids so much!! i hope you riding that!! i am from austria and iam not so godd at englisch!!! thank you for your answer!!!!
Not ironic that there's always someone that feels the need to try to make something so positive, negative. By the way they sign threw most of the video and I'm sure most deaf people can figure out what's going and most likely has someone's help as most deaf people do.
Ok Know-it-all. Have you actually looked at the subtitles/captions? Have you followed along with the translation? It makes no sense - the subtitles don't match what is being said. Imagine being a Deaf person having to read gibberish and STILL have no idea what is going on. Obviously you've commented on something without actually checking your facts first. As for the sign language - different countries have different sign language. Most Deaf people get by during interaction, but there is still a distinct difference between the signs.
You are lame and a LIAR!! Your initial post did NOT say anything about it having poor captioning or subtitles. YOU said it DID NOT have captioning, which is bullshit. You were trying to be clever with your snide remark. It is YOU that have not checked the facts first. You didn't even check until AFTER I posted my response. Yes I have watched it with subtitles/captions. You have not, obviously, or at least not all the way through. It does match and there is no gibberish. You are making a lame attempt to cover your fat ass. You are wrong, and just like a woman, too stubborn to admit. And just like a woman, you use emotion instead of logic to argue. I ALWAYS check my facts before I post anything, anywhere. Checkmate, you loose.
man... she seems awesome, I hope I will meet her someday.. I am deaf too!
What an inspiration. She is amazing. I'm not an emotional guy but wow I got choked up and I don't know why!! A truly beautiful girl inside and out. Just amazing. Just watched her at Southwick, Mass. Incredible rider, super fast.

Ironic that this isn't captioned for other Deaf people to feel inspired.

+CarnThen hi
No disrespect but how the hell do you not know your child is deaf for 4 years? Should become pretty apparent by year two or earlier.
She skims those stadium whoops like a boss!
She seems really cool
I think she is very pretty and being deaf doesn't set her back at all because she is just like us i know she is one hell of a wmx
