thank you.Real friends find something in common (like phil) and attempt to teach them and challenge their understandings, both to teach and learn, to challenge and be challenged. I want my friends to be wise, active, fit, because that is what I want for myself. I have no right to legislate this for others, but this is what I would want to share and receive. I try to find the wisest people to learn from ( or who will put up with me!)

You're very welcome! Yes, desiring the good for them is integral to friendship - though, of course, we need to know what the good for them is

Your videos have made my life better by confirming, clarifying and teaching me important philosophic content. My small monthly contributions are hopefully, when combined with others, allow you to research, learn and teach. You are already in the position where you have a "fan base". You could not hang out with everyone who would want to hang out with you. No doubt then you would be judicious with your time: and may you pick good friends.

Excellent video. I'm currently reading some excerpts of philosophical texts from a set of books my dad gave me for my birthday. I'm currently reading an excerpt from Nicomachean Ethics and it's a very interesting read. These core concept videos will definitely help me in my studies of Aristotle. Thanks a lot.

it is essential to listen to (or read) lectures when reading classical texts and if you don’t you’re not appreciating it in full

I'd say that's only partly right. I rarely read or listen to lectures on classical texts. I just read the texts

Well, that's good -- I suppose, as far as screwing it up, you'll have to watch and see

When I a girl waved at me l used to get excessively emotional which l know now the true meaning of it is the fact of their temporary mood for society itself.

So much ignorance, plain stupidity, and masses driven through education for money, not education of knowledge and desire to grow in mind not in checking account.. Thank you for your embrace and spread of knowledge.. ~Amar Čulić
Sad to see so much attention being payed to fish lips and sixpacks, rather than the art of thought.. So sad, and thank you oh so much once again ... Ćao

This philosophy class is so dry and quiet lol, my classmates can barely shut up and put their hands up every second. We're always debating and discussing in class that we're actually a little behind on the syllabus. I'm not sure if my prof loves this or hates it.

I'm sure if they're random off-topic complaints like your comment, your prof hates it

That was a joke. I need to ramp up my comedic skills, eh. Or did you just intentionally walk all over my joke? Never mind, no need to reply.
