    Out of all of these buildings, in total of which you've built 50 throughout both of your videos, Lakhta Center is with no doubt the one that struck me the most. The fact that you've managed to rebuild it with such great accuracy in terms of its geometry, while also doing an excellent job on the design, is nothing less than impressive and indicative of unquestionable talent. Like, it's so complex a building that the vast majority of us, first of all, wouldn't even know where or how to begin working on it. So, given the skyscraper's sky-piercing height and sheer geometrical complexity, Lakhta Center is for sure the most eye-catching one on the list.

    • @BaroBuilder
      @BaroBuilder  11 месяцев назад +13

      Thank you so much!! Lakhta Center was definitely the most challenging build of all. I honestly think it took me probably as long as the first 15 towers all together. So I'm really glad to hear you like it!😊

  • @kpv8

    Varso as you said antenna isn't antenna it's a spire and it's not removable because it's integrated part of the building begining at the base of the tower and going with the facade towards the 310 meters. It even contains an elevator inside it. Radio, TV and other type of transmission equipment can be mounted on it thanks to this round service segments.

    • @johannkruschwitz3959
      @johannkruschwitz3959 5 месяцев назад +4

      But he ranks the buildings by roof height. The roof height of the varso tower is 236 meters. The spire might be functional and a structural part of the tower. But it doesn’t increase the floor space of the building. It’s basically irrelevant for “actual height”. It is way more practical to rank buildings by their roof height because everyone can put a large spire on top of a building. I know that this is a “patriotism” thing for you poles but you don’t have to justify why you’re 236 meter tower is actually 310 meters.

    • @kpv8
      @kpv8 5 месяцев назад +11

      @@johannkruschwitz3959 If he doesn't rank buildings by roof height, then why he included full height with spire of Tour First (231m) not the roof height of 225 meters also same with Unicredid Tower. Council on Tall Buildings and Urban Habitat says clearly that Varso height is 310 meters with the spire.

    • @johannkruschwitz3959
      @johannkruschwitz3959 4 месяца назад

      @@kpv8 I would guess he made a mistake. But it doesn’t take away from my original point. Roof height is the actual height of a building because a spire or antenna doesn’t increase floor space.

      @BaroBuilder  4 месяца назад +2

      You are right! I even visited Vilnius and also went on the Television Tower last year. It really is a beautiful city! But the reason it's not in this video is that the TV tower is not considered a "building" as most of its height is not usable. Same reason why the Eiffel Tower also isn't on this list. As a Georgian I am really glad that you included *12:33* this one, even though I'm personally not a fan of how they turned the beautiful city of Batumi into a ''mini-Dubai'' as locals call it, you did a great job on the build and it's undeniably a very unique structure. A lot of people in those ''Every country in Europe'' videos would not include the Caucasus countries, and I am SO GLAD you did it. Amazing job on all of the builds, you knocked the Lakhta Centre one out of the water, encapsulating its bizarre and unique architecture phenomenally.

      Those are some really interesting buildings, but I think they might be a bit too similar to do them all in a video, because to most people that would seem quite repetitive. I'll try to build at least one of them sometime in the future though!

    • @NickAndriadze
      @NickAndriadze 4 месяца назад

      @@BaroBuilder Understandable, some people might find that repetitive because they have a similar tan/beige colouration, plus it's the neoclassical nuances that make them different, things like ornaments and not the shape in general, which will be hard to capture in Minecraft. I understand as a Dutchie you want your dunk on Belgium but what I think you missed and makes the Zuidertoren more interesting is how it's sitting on a relatively thin stalk visible on the bottom. It has 100% on curtain walls and an open floor plan and likes to show off these modernist ideals with this (the building dates from the sixties). The stalk rests on huge pumps so the building can be adjusted when it would start to lean. I don't think it's that boring.

    Greetings from Bermuda! What an amazing video! Liked your Las Vegas videos so looked at some more and they are absolutely flawless!!! The Lakhta centre is very accurate, as they all are but this is in Minecraft. How can you build these buildings to such perfection in Minecraft!!! By the way, are they built with a scale of 1 block per metre or not. Absolutely brilliant.🎉🎉🎉

      This video only considers "buildings" with most of their height as usable floors. So towers like the one in Berlin and the Eiffel tower don't qualify. Several other countries would otherwise also have a tower as their tallest structure. I will make a similar video on all of those one day as well!😊
