I agree...sure was alot of throttling up and down. When the pilots throttled way down on that big right turn I thought something was wrong and you were heading back to the airport. Very interesting video and great sound!!
Thank you for your answer, I also filmed from first class cabin a takeoff from miami on a 767-300, sounds close to yours. B767's and B777's are so great to hear on takeoffs & landings because of the sound of the throttle. you almost can feel the engine power between your legs, that'a why I love to ride on planes at those 2 moments.
thats funny. I flew to Miami on friday from Atlanta on a Delta Airbus a320. Landing was awful because my sinus was hurting so frickin bad that when i walked out the gate it was like Blind for 10 minutes.
Weird procedure after takeoff. I don't think the pilots liked sticking with one engine setting, they had to go through them all on the climb :) Great sound as a result!
Why do some takeoffs sound different? The 2 takeoffs from my flight from MIA on 11/29/12 sounded different from the takeoff on my return flight, and they both sounded different from this one. Is it something with the air pressure and stuff? I'll be uploading the videos from my flight later, one is up right now.
I do not like the high pinch of the RR's on the 757 for takeoff, but during landings on reverse and adjustments they sound very powerful. Anyway.... HAIL to the ROAR !!!!!!
Not really, they've had 2 non-fatal overruns (one caused in part by mechanical failure). An A300 crash due to structural failure, not directly pilot-error as many people think. You can't count the two a/c lost on 9/11 because the airline, pilots, and airplanes did nothing wrong on that day, they were victims of circumstance. It could have easily been Delta and Continental flights but they chose AA and United. They are a good airline.
Ive been in 3 that have had winglets so hadnt really noticed..mind you these had been overhauled models, if airlines keep them (doubtful unless that 787 Dreamliner continues to plague Boeing with problems)
I think United has had the most preventable accidents of a mainline carrier in the US. But I don't think any airline in the US or Canada is unsafe, maybe some of the ones in developing countries.
Jet is not like car. Most of the sound heard inside plane cabins comes from the fuel pumps. Maybe you're a fuel pump fan and never knew it? Most are made by Eaton, you should fan their page!
That was the 757 in 1995. They entered the wrong waypoint into the FMC and it took them into a mountain, stupid mistake really, too bad it resulted the way it did.
Man that's awesome. Gotta love the power down for noise abatement and then power back up for clearance to climb. 10/10!
Great video. I love hearing those 767 takeoff!

EPIC A-PITCHED BUZZSAW!
The 767 was is the largest jet I ever flew In. That's about to change. In 1 month I'm going on an AA 777-300ER from JFK to LHR
Nice, the size difference between the 767 and 777 is very noticeable!
Very. You mean extremely right.
Gotta love the sweet sounds of the CF6 :)
Yeah, it's a very smooth sounding engine! I really enjoy the sound as well!
I just love the roar of the engines (in this vid) as while the plane is at full throttle! Nice Capture!
Glad you liked the GE sound! Thank you for your comment!
***** How was the First Class service on this flight?
Pretty good as I recall! I think they served breakfast!
music to my ears!

Loved the throttle adjustments (2) before getting into the clouds, great power is felt from the engines !!!!
Yeah, they were playing a lot with the thrust settings in this departure! Thanks so much for the comment as it is most appreciated!
The tail number of this aircraft was N382AN, which you apparently flew on again just a few years later!
The plane was so nice I flew on it twice!
superb and amazing. This is just the video I have been looking for for a long time.
Well, I'm glad I could help you out! Glad you liked the video so much! I appreciate the comment!
Super super super 767 Takeoff!!!
love your videos captures all sounds!
Thank you so much! I'm really glad you like them!
Awesome video!
Thanks!
it also depends on the seat, if youre sitting in the back of the aircraft, you wont hear the spool up sound for example.
You are a professional
DFW is awesome as well as this video....thank you!!!!!
+jtho53 Glad you liked it! Thank you for taking the time to comment!

Yeah, the sound is great! My personal favorite is the RR on the 757 if you couldn't tell!
Mah584jr HD Aviation. My favorite aircraft is 737-700 and 737-800
Thanks! Glad you liked it!

Ethan Hutsell hey dude, add me on snap:) i just added u
I mean all with the GE CF6s. Same -300ER variant of the aircraft too. c:
THANKS GUYS
Different engine companies is a huge factor.

I think you meant Hurricane Isaac :) Irene was on 2011.. Great video by the way..
Just amazing!

Sound alright but the 757 sound a lot more better :D
I will be flying a 767-300ER on Condor from PDX-FRA.
I do not like the high pinch of the RR's on the 757 for takeoff, but during landings on reverse and adjustments they sound very powerful. Anyway.... HAIL to the ROAR !!!!!!
Indeed, to each his own!
nice video!! :33
Agreed, it's an excellent aircraft!
Engine sound is awesome
What seat is this?

I just saying because its that time of year again
Wasnt there another crash when the pilots when the wrong way and then they crashed in a mountain i think?
Those jet engines sound like giant refrigerators.
I think United has had the most preventable accidents of a mainline carrier in the US. But I don't think any airline in the US or Canada is unsafe, maybe some of the ones in developing countries.
0:53 just hear the difference
Because not too many of them have winglets.
Do you know the seatnumber?
This was 5J!
I hear Rolls Royce engines make that thumping noise when they are at cruising speed. is this a RR engine or not..
GE CF6
Why is it rare for a 767 to have winglets?

Ya that one

Honestly my flight on a 767 wasn't the best. It just wasn't very comfortable
Really? It's rare I hear that! Perhaps it was the seat! The great thing about the 767 is 6 out of 7 people in each row get a window or an aisle!
I was in the back. It just wasn't the best. Ive had a lot better experiences
Ya
ok
So RARE, A 767 with winglets!
I'm serious
Don't go on American airlines they crash a lot
That's not funny
great vid! Taking off to the North?
Correct! 35L! Thanks for the comment!
