I always wanted the black one as a kid. My family was always struggling. My late best friend at the time had one and would share it with me to battle against other kids at school. Such a fond memory.
It's too bad they're so expensive, I'm still not at the best place in life right now and would absolutely adore one of these to remind me of those good times.
They're sold out everywhere and cost far too much for me to afford. Almost 2 weeks worth of food for me :(.
I'd recommend looking into the Digimon 20th. It's not in color but it's a lot cheaper and still has that nostalgia

Would honestly have loved it to been just a little more advanced and and a little more vpet forward and it would have been perfect,
I think it would've been a game changer if it had something like BE Memories where you could get more Digimon on it.
Or if not that, you could hook it up to your PC for added bonuses like a digital world or at least online battles.
But I gotta admit, the screen is gorgeous!
They know that wanting some kind of functionality with an app or fans is something we really want nowadays so I hope we get something like that soon!
There is some fan already mod the vpet colour, change these digimons to Ver6 digimon line!!!
ive been enjoying the colour so much, tbh the only thing i would have liked is an album as well. hopfully with this we will get more v-pets in colour. the screen is so good.
With how little the roster is I don't think the album would be that needed tbh, on the 20th it easy to want it tho coz of the many many different eggs and digimon you can get and lose track of easily

I ordered one of each version and I can't wait for them to arrive. I'm particularly excited about EBEmon since I like machine/robot Digimon.
That and I can't wait to see if they recycle a Digimon for Giromon's evolution or if they make a new one since ver 3~5 seem to be almost confirmed due to the game files (unlockablrs requoring connections with all those versions).

@@Xanaxdu you should do a rundown on battery life. How long till it flat, or how long till charge full battery. Can it connected to pc? Pros and cons.
Big help for those annoyed with sound there is a way to completely mute it by pressing a+c in the main screen (not in the sound menu which is kinda stupid tbh)
I want the grey one and black one but the cheapest I've found is $120 aud and there's no way I'm spending $240 on these

The only thing I dislike with the newer Digimon v pets is that the screen automatically turns off. It actually feels like a little guy sitting around with me when I can see the pet without pressing a button
I miss it always being on too but it's necessary for longer battery life
I need one so badly. But bought too much BE stuff to justify that too right now

That flashing, angry red is such a weird color choice to portray digivolution o.o
Would've preferred gold, or even just blue/green. Anyone remembers that series of bars that travels up the screen in the older digivices/vpets? That was very reminiscent of how columns of light would shoot up from the digimon in the show, and that would've been neat here.
Yeah it's definitely a weird pick I think gold would have been a good idea as well TBH
I was watching your video hahahaha mine is about to arrive, I have seen in videos that the pet has some very good details, like the digitama that the digimon leaves when it dies appears recharged in the grave

This was pretty much similar to the recent color tamagotchis.
It lacks a lot of the functions of a modern device tho. I hope we get something like the new color tama for digimon soon

I need to get me one of these. I love the sprites of the digimon colour, but right now it'd be about 100 CAD between both our dollar being crap and our shipping also being mega bad. But I might bite the bullet and get it anyways.

@@Xanaxdu Ended up buying it and love it. The battle mode is a bit weird since there's no minigame, but I kinda like it. Makes grinding slightly less tedious (though sometimes still frustrating. Took me a few hours to go from 70% to 80% success rate because whenever I hit 79% I'd enter a losing streak)

When on the clock screen press A and C and you can change the hour with A and minutes with B

Is anyone else's buttons feel stiff? Like 20th and X the buttons are easy to push but color is harder to push.
They are definitely more stiff. I know some folks replaced the buttons with 20th or X buttons and said it felt better
My order from Premium Bandai USA just arrived and it didn't seem to come with the art either.

It's up in the air if we'll get this on English. There's the Digimon 20ths on Amazon tho they're not in color but it's got that classic feel and a huge amount of Digimon you can raise. I have a link to it in the description if you wanna chech it out!

I just got mine in the mail and it won't turn on. What am I doing wrong? I plugged it into my computer using the included cable hoping to charge it but it's been on the cable over night and it still won't power on.

It's unlikely that it'll get an English release but there's barely any Japanese in it so it's not hard to remember what each menu does
