30 Years of musical LINIE 1 (LINE 1) - Grips Theater Berlin - "Hey Du"

On April 30th, 1986, the world premiere of the German musical LINIE 1 (Line 1) was celebrated at Grips-Theater Berlin. 30 years and over 1,700 performances later it is still presented in the original production. After the anniversary performance, head of the theatre and author Volker Ludwig accompanied by actor Dietrich Lehmann of the original cast (and still performing to this date) were cutting the cakes in the shape of underground trains followed by a special rendition of the hit song "Hey Du (Du bist schön auch wenn du weinst" ("Hey you (You are beautiful even when you are crying)") with current, previous and future cast members together with the audience and the Linie 1 rock band "No Ticket".
